i watched the game back and it was a comfortable performance overall, we do seem to be looking more settled and direct than we have been previously.

the subs killed us a bit, but i like Iwata, i think he has a lot of impressive attributes that could be put to good use, i would have no issues with him slotting into that midfield should one of the main 3 get injured.

With 7 games in 21 days I think it is he could maybe start one or two at home to get some of the starting 3 legs a bit of a rest?

possibly mate yeah, i think he looks decent, harsh to judge him on last year.

i think Oh looks poor, but again, harsh to judge when getting minutes here and there.

I think Oh is trying too hard and seems to be rushing things instead of remaining clam. BR needs to coach him better.

Yeh Oh obvs cannot dislodge Kyogo and he cant be dropped so his minutes will likely remain minimal unless (god forbid) he gets an injury

My concern is Paolo Bernardo. He is not going to get a regular slot ahead of the main midfield 3. If Iwata is next in line then are we going to get to see much of him?

It's hard not to compare his signing to Jota given they are Benfica loans but are we missing out on something here.

Of course the difficult question is who gets dropped out of McGregor, O'Riley and Hatate

Didn't see the Celtic game but i heard they got a dodgy penalty as per usual.

Rangers were much improved in our first game under Clement. Hopefully we can build some momentum in Prague.

i mean if kneeing someone's knee is dodgy then fair play.

Missed the first half, but now seen the whole game. Thought it was a really good performance and an excellent result at a ground we’ve found difficult in the past.

O’Riley is rightly getting the main plaudits, but thought CCV, Scales, and AJ all played really well, and McGregor, Hatate, Palma and Kyogo showed up well too. Hatate and Palma showed some touches of class that made the difference. We lost our usual sloppy goal, although it was a good finish from Shankland.

Hearts were poor. I can’t see them doing anything against rangers in their next couple of games (if I heard them right yesterday?!) and I doubt Naismith will last much longer. Was good to see that the Hearts fans showing their appreciation of their board looking after them by making sure they had more seats in their own stadium…

I wouldn't put AJ in that top tier. I think his honeymoon is over and players are sussing out his weaknesses now. Of course we don't know else what might be going on in his life or body? This season he has been reckless and being turned and outpaced way more than last year. No disaster, just saying.

Think that’s fair comment. Still levels above Ralston though.

Comment was only about the game on Sunday, but I agree his limits are more known now. Not sure how much applies domestically though, been more in Europe it’s been noticeable.

i think he's been fine but he made an @rse of it v lazio by being over eager.

domestically he is good, and i think a step up from Juranovic.

I wonder if that operation he had in the summer has caused him to lose a bit of pace. Seems to be slower and goes to ground far too much.
