Not on to slaughter Calmac again?

O'riley rolls royce. I'd push mcgregor up and put iwata on the holding role

After this last window in the EPL, wouldn’t surprise me if it was north of £30m.

Good result today-enjoyed most of the game.

Minute’s silence before the game was poorly observed, 3 folk running onto the pitch was a pain in the neck as well.

That apart, it was one of our best performances this season. Helped that Aberdeen were poor. That Roos was shocking-wtf is he doing at Oh’s header?!

Not seen anything back, but I thought the Aberdeen CH should have been sent off for the challenge on Kyogo-looked completely unnecessary and wild. Wasn’t surprised we got the penalty-again, from first viewing-Aberdeen player is nowhere near the ball.

Pleased for Yang today-seems to be settling in-and glad Beale decided not to go for Palma. Outstanding ball he put in for Oh’s header.

I thought Holm was fairly anonymous today

I picked the wrong week to bin Sky Sports then! Sportscene highlights for me … at least until I get my firestick “sorted” (cough).

Sounded like a very decent performance, albeit probably catching the Dons at a good time after a game in Greece on Thurs night. Starting wide men seemed to be very good.

To be fair, Aberdeen were asleep for the whole of the first half. Robson must've torn them up at half time, totally different mentality second half. Didn't stop them getting pumped though

Aberdeen are shiete and he needs to get away from this 541 or whatever the fck it is

Just watched the highlights there, how good was Palmas cross for Oh's header?

Done it like it was nothing at all, superb

Palma has turned into a real player. Glad we got him and other teams couldn't afford him

Kyogo has been ruled out of the upcoming international break for Japan after suffering what looked a serious head knock for Celtic against Aberdeen this afternoon.

I just knew as soon as you guys signed him he was going to be a baller. Fvcking Beale must be the worst judge of a player's ability we've had in a very long time.

as i was leaving yesterday i heard palma as man of the match and thought he was a bit quiet for spots in the game, so imo it was o'riley.

but 3 assists and a goal make that look a bit questionable

I thought yang was terrific, and i'm pleased Oh managed a couple of goals.

When Kyogo went down it had that UFC knockout look about it, said to Paddy it was that stiffboard look after a solid TKO.

I watched the highlights last night and I started to think that Palma and Yang yesterday were reflections of how Scotty Sinclair played for us under Rodgers.

Towards the end of his time he was frustrating but always came up with the goods. I see that in both of yesterday's wingers (and Abada). The occassional hitting the bye line instead of cutting in surprised the full backs.

I like Maeda but yesterday for me showed that hard graft v teams that set up 7-2-1 isn't as effective as two tricky wingers and a striker who doesn't stop moving

Imo it was a reckless challenge. I can understand it being seen as 50-50 but he threw himself into that challenge. Whether he got to the ball or not he was taking Kyogo out. Then did the same moments later at Yang, who he fortunately missed. Out of control both times

The kyogo one was a funny one , in that it skirts round a few areas .
The defender wins the ball , but for me if you are looking at the definition of a reckless challenge then that has to be it right there .
he could have caused serious damage , maybe he has ?
Idiotic attempt at the ball , i recall seeing Shane duffy do one of these against a livi player and i thought at the time - fck off - youre a brainless coont going for that ! and yesterday was the same thing .

I think he should been sent off for being reckless and endangering an opponent . And that goes for anyone who goes into challenges in this manner .

big stupid gormless coont

interesting that you mention sinclair cause i was happy with Oh's second goal, the finish in particular.

going near post like that, reminded me of sinclair in his first OF game, tidy finish.

Can see how it could be considered excessive force, think he was in control as he appears to win the ball with eyes directly on it. Personally seen plenty of incidents like that and never seen a red given.

Danilo’s injury from head flying into him wasn’t that different, Danilo won his header, scored a goal and took a head to his face. The St Johnstone player didn’t even get the ball and came in at force, he wasn’t even booked.

Pretty much my thoughts on it. The very definition of reckless and out of control.

a lot of red card offences aren't deliberate, but there has to be a deterrent for reckless endangerment.

It's baffling that maeda got a red card through the week but that was just a booking. He obliterated him.

Went for the ball unintentionally butted kyogo

The challenge looked bad on TV but that doesn't capture how bad it really was.

He was going at full speed and ran from quire a distance away. Knew exactly what he was doing and should have got a red and a lengthy ban.

If someone lunges while running at full pelt but was going for the ball and then snaps the opponent's ankle unintentionally..
