I think its the first game i've seen utd play well in this year. This article is a bit premature.

Nickasaurus I actually thought it was our worst performance of the season considering the opponent we were facing. We played much better against Luton, Brentford, Palace, Tottenham, Arsenal and Forest.

We were just lucky Everton were so bad in front of goal lol. I suppose we were due a lucky game.

We should have won 4-0 against Luton but some incredible misses stopped it being a hammering.

I did not see the luton game to be fair, and think I missed a cl game of yours. but other than that, been very lacklustre.

What utd have though, is game winners and goal scorers.

Chelsea are the complete opposite (until this weekend).
Dominate matches but are as clinical as a kezman and macheda love child

Except for Palace, we are beating the teams we are expected to beat. But we are struggling to find that extra level against the better teams. We could well have been level or behind at half-time. It was almost like a game from yesteryear during SAF times, where we would occasionally not play that well but the match result looked comfortable - the difference being in yesteryear we usually played well at other times, whereas this season our performances have generally been not great.
Perhaps with players starting to come back and some growing confidence we can progress, but we really need to step it up against the sides above and around us before I'm convinced we are really on the right track. Still relying on individual sparks rather than good consistent quality performnaces

We were league 2 standard in the first half and could have well been 4 or 5 goals down. Fortunately for us Everton can't finish. If that was city it would have been an embarrassment for us.
