This manager has probably had it easier than all our previous ones post SAF as he’s been given pretty much all the players he wanted bar FDJ (who let’s be honest would probably flop too).
When you’re given £400 million to have the keeper you wanted, the winger you wanted, the striker you wanted and the CB you wanted - and most of those players have played for you before - we surely have to perform better than a plucky mid table side like Crystal Palace who see taking a point away from home at a top 6 side as a huge bonus.
2 years ago today Newcastle were bottom of the table and they brought in a very good manager who’s spent a bit but more importantly improved the likes of Almiron, Longstaff and Joelinton amongst others. The likes of Gordon were risks but he’s turned him into one of the best young players in the league and spent wisely.
Erik Ten Losses hasn’t improved us one iota and time is running out.
Actually scrap that - Palace actually do take points away from home at top 6 clubs 😂

Strange! I ain’t got a “sister”!
I’ve heard a few people say that if he is falling out with players it’s purely because he’s trying to raise professional standards at the club. I find this very believable.
However, I can’t think of a single player he’s made better, AWB maybe, and a fair few who have got worse. Rarely if ever gets a win against the odds, and he’s had a few hidings too (and has done at previous clubs. If you Google ETH biggest career defeats it’s kinda crazy).
He’ll get a bit more time yet I reckon.

We are not any club, if you knew that you would not ask the question. The manager is only a small part of the problem.
This issue will resurface in 18 - 24 months? Is that really what we want? Why not back a manager, through a lot of the thin and thick periods?
I think things would be so different if Rashford hadn’t dyed his hair!
Big part of the problem are spoilt brat fans. Success does that, we filled our bellies because of SAF. We do not have a divine right to be successful, however, no manager can be successful if the structure is built for failure, money alone is not enough, we are proof of that!
You need to start by not signing crap squad filler players and bloating the squad needlessly.

Why does any club change their manager? There are many fingers that can be pointed at the glazers but the on field stuff is mainly down to the coaching or lack thereof.

We are not any club, if you knew that you would not ask the question. The manager is only a small part of the problem.
This issue will resurface in 18 - 24 months? Is that really what we want? Why not back a manager, through a lot of the thin and thick periods?

Big part of the problem are spoilt brat fans. Success does that, we filled our bellies because of SAF. We do not have a divine right to be successful, however, no manager can be successful if the structure is built for failure, money alone is not enough, we are proof of that!
