Didn’t see any of it, but sounded like a decent enough showing? Couple for Oh should boost his confidence, and Iwata starting sounded promising.
Instead been watching the worst Prem era Chelsea side I can remember making a pretty poor Man U look like Brazil 1970.
Good result, decent performance. Thought we worked harder and moved the ball quicker the last couple of domestic games. AJ looked a bit better than he has so far this season. CCV was unlucky not to get a goal. Midfield all did well-Iwata looked like he was tiring badly towards the end which was understandable. Palma and Oh both did well-Oh did well for his second goal.
Was good to hear Rodgers after the game on the radio saying that MJ had to do more to keep his place.
Nat Phillips is one of the worst footballers I’ve ever seen. Ever. He’s so similar to Duffy-but worse.
Happy enough overall with that.
Just caught the poor excuse for a “highlights” prog that is Sportscene. As much as anybody could tell from that, aye certainly an improved performance. Still some big question marks about us defensively though. Yet again an opponent feeding on scraps scored one and had 2 other great chances. How many times is Scales getting caught out with a basic punt over the top? CalMac looked way better pushed up, with Iwata at DM … Shockeroonie.

Phillips is atrcious, the drop in our defensive fragility was evident when he came on
That game could have should have been 6 or 7 but in ture Rodgers fashion we stopped trying once we hit 4
Not sure we should be busting a gut at 4-0 up to be honest. The game was won by half time in reality and the soft penalty completely wrapped up any doubts.
With the continuing heavy schedule ahead of us, I’m more than content with winning games like this early and sitting back to get some bit of rest with team rotation.

I was pleased to see that when required Oh can come in and lead the line. He is not on a level with Kyogo yet but it was a good performance with 1 and a half goals
