He won trophies which is great but only his first season was great, the rot set in on the second mate.

I mind being at a league cup final v motherwell that made my eyes bleed.

He's playing the same boring crap he was when he left and if he was that good he could change it, but he can't.

Or his ego simply wont let him.

Egos are to blame for most arseholeish behaviour.

Eh...I've got a long memory. I can mind when it used to be nepotism. 🤣

That too, and cronyism. Congrats if you have all three!

Are Celtic fans still confident of winning the league? As much as there is clearly some frustration right now the fans do seem to still be dismissing Rangers challenge. Which to be fair is easy to see why .

It would be a pretty massive shock if we won it. Would surely have to be the first time a team won it after being so bad that they sacked their manager in the first half of the season?

Nope.

Imo rangers should be ashamed of themselves if we win this league.

We talk about losing jota, i'm not sure this clown would get the best out of him.

Not content with losing "yota" this @rsehole decided to drop hatate.

Now we have fans kidding themselves that kyogo is the issue and that oh would work better, delusional to say the least, all instead of admitting our manager is pointless whank

I'm not. I never would. Yes, your weight, tolerance for others' beliefs, unbroken history, social skills, complete knowledge of parentage, eventual afterlife destination, looks, knuckle integrity, definition of potable water, and attraction to female siblings all warrant questioning but I'd never write off Rangers as a title threat.

Particularly with Celtic under this perma-tanned, Turkey-toothed, tranny-banger.

Ah well - at least this season might be a bot more interesting than some that have gone before.

Celtic will get players back from injury and will spend in january.

We will deffo bring in a few, possibly loans but if Clement can get the right ones in it might give us a boost in the areas we are pretty desperate.

It certainly looks like plenty more points will be dropped compared to recent seasons.

There's a boy on here that's done a lot of recruitment in his job so he knows that Celtic will not lose the league while Brendan is manager.
Not sure why folk are still discussing it.

Shankland to Rangers and van Veen to Hearts are the rumours.

We'll probably buy Shane Duffy

Seen a few people talking about Celtic spending in Jan to maybe go up a gear.

Entirely possible but we know January isn't a great window for getting players in. Also Celtic have no Euro football until next season so there's not perhaps the same incentive for someone to move in Jan rather than summer. And regardless of how much money you have Scottish football has its limitations in attracting players. Plus they spent in the summer and it hasn't really played out that way.

I think the biggest gear change for either club could be a really good loan signing or two from somewhere. I'm struggling to think of the last January window that really made a difference to a title race - maybe a couple of years ago when Maeda and Hatate came in but slightly unusual in that they came in from a relatively obscure market known by the Manager from his time working there. Outside that I can't think of many seasons where a team has pulled away after a great January window.

Celtic should still win the league, they've lost the momentum they had under Pogdycoglu but their squad is miles better.

We are just so short on quality all over the pitch and we've got loads of injuries.

I'd be content to be within 6 points after the next Old Firm and hope Phil can find some magic in the window.

An average side will win the league but we need Celtic to collapse late on, too soon and they will be able to recover by sacking Brent. He's the biggest problem they have.

We won’t sack Rodgers

Scenario is we perform so badly we allow Rangers to take advantage whereby it becomes an utter embarrassment and the fans turn on the club n en masse. I happen to think we will do enough to win it but it won’t be pretty.

If that scenario unfolds, Rodgers will bail out to another club or just walk away. He doesn’t need the money after all.

And once again we’ll find our board stumbling around in shock with not one iota of a clue as to who to approach because eh, they just didn’t think of it. Arrogant cwnts.

Was feeling confident we could still win the league till Danilo and Lawrence injuries. Then suspensions and injuries mounting up ahead of a hectic few weeks generally.

Well both drop more points, but without their quality not confident we can get better of Celtic at end of month.
