We need Ashley Young back for this one! That's why I'd go with a back five but give them licence to be brave on the ball.
Rashford is a detriment to the XI. Should stay on the bench until he earns his place.
How often do teams drastically change their formation and system?
The only difference I see happening is how we replace Bruno, with a like for like or putting another more defensive minded CM in the middle. I guess either way it'll be the same 3 CMs (Amrabat, McTom and Mainoo are the only fit ones right?) and McTominay isn't going to do much defensively so he plays further forward by default.

He's there purely for his record against VVD. These things can play on the minds of players.
We need to sit back and try and sneak a goal on the counter against all odds.
I wonder if we'll see more Salah bookings than United goals on Sunday.

If we lose by more than 4 goals again, then ETH, the players, boardroom, scouts all need to be fired, and Glazers need to sack themselves too, useless owners.

We don't need a back 5, we just need Amrabat and Mainoo starting together as a double pivot. There's no Bruno, so he can start McT in the single #8 role. Although I'd rather see Hannibal there.

People were crying at the thought of Dalot against Saka earlier this season but I said the same thing at the time - Dalot may suit having a left footer coming inside onto his own stronger right foot (plus Shaw soils his pants against Saka and Salah by backing off so much - and did the same against Coman the other night). Dalot had probably his best defensive game in his United career ever that afternoon so he might be a better option there again.
I'd go with the same team you've chosen. I can't see any better options to be honest. Garnacho hasn't been great despite being lively, so you could make half a case for giving Rashford a go in his best position again + he has a decent record against Liverpool. Other than that it's the best we can do.
