I think Malacia is due back soon, and we've got Dalot who can cover there too so makes sense.
I liked what I saw of Reguilon early on and he's decent going forward, but he is actually an absolute disaster defensively. Seems to have no idea where he's supposed to be half the time. No surprise we stopped playing him.
Makes sense, as said above. Are we going for another Weggy-type loan up front maybe?
All setup for Reguilon to destroy us when we play them next week

They're the two being linked and based on past experience, I'd probably rather we just muddled on with what we have than sign another crap striker on loan just for the sake of it

Choupo-Moting scored 10 in 19 Bundesliga games last season. Pretty decent return.
Style of play
Choupo-Moting is often stationed as a striker or on the left wing.[48] He is a composed finisher and possesses purposeful and powerful dribbling ability, comfortable on either left or right flanks or through the middle of the pitch.[48] Choupo-Moting is known for high work rate, long stride and powerful, direct dribbling ability.[48]
I wouldn't terribly be against him coming in if it was just a short term deal. I know we've been here in the past but at least he'd be as cover for a young striker.
I quite liked him when he first signed, but he just cannot defend. The lazy tracking that cost us a goal against Bournemouth was the final straw for me.
At least we’ve got Malacia coming back soon who is equally shiiiiiit to take his place in the squad.
What a player he's been for us

The very fact I'm not even annoyed at these potential transfers is a sign of where we're at. Having said that if he's good enough for Bayern as a squad player then he's surely good enough for us as things stand now.

Sod's law says you get a load of injuries, have to play him and he has a stormer!
I very much doubt we're in for Choupo-Moting. But as a footballer he deserves a lot more respect than he gets from English fans who basically remember him as a Stoke player. He has scored Champions League goals at PSG and Bayern (some very important knockout stage goals at the latter), and has performed as a pretty dependable understudy at both clubs, at a time when both have been lightyears ahead of us. He was Bayern's joint top scorer in all competitions last year. Is he a world beater? No. But he's definitely not to be sneered at either.
Reguiloan never quite became a first-team Reguilar.
Better than Malacia but should go without saying since he was a Ten Hag signing and they've all been pash.

Let's hope he does well there so we can get some kind of decent transfer fee for him at the end.
It's a shame with him as he looked good there. Then again a lot of players look better at the clubs they were at before joining United.
