An awful signing on many levels that could actually disrupt the side

we get him, we will need Ange magic to work on him

A 1 goal in 3 or 4 games striker. It really isn't ideal but perhaps he somehow exceeds expectations and becomes the player Chelsea thought they were signing. And if not then we have slightly more goals in the squad than we did.

Maybe he will suit Ange ball
let’s not write him off yet
Also if you look at Salah or De Bruyne without alluding to TW will be like one of them but they both did well after a short break and move to new clubs and a new system.

Let’s hold off making pre judgements and trust Ange instead.

if he suddenly starts scoring for fun and uses his speed to run at defenders then fantastic otherwise he’s on loan and we can send him back!

Would not surprise me if he was the former!

Smells of a Levy cheapo to appease Ange, hope there's no obligation to buy

Wasn't Salah a flop at Chelsea?, look at him now in a system that suits him, maybe he will click with us

Apparently Utd were in for him too. Also, TM versatility is why Ange wants him as he can play up front in all sides. Like BJ, Kulu and Sonny I guess

Get thos over the line to give us options all over

With vdV back, Benta already playing, add Maddison, and Solomon, plus when Biss and Sar are back, TW and BJ, Richy, Kulu we don't look too bad
Plus having the best keeper in the league right now Vic.... All to look forward to!

Deal done, seems a slightly questionable one to some of us but we'll get 100% behind him as a Spurs player, and let's face it, our recent transfer history has a pretty good success rate.

yep, pretty much how I feel. So far, Ange hasn't been that much wrong tbh....I read somewhere that Ange system will suit TW perfectly and Spurs with him will cause mayhem to oppo defense. I love a mayhem

Werner and Richarlison up front.

The ball is gonna be bouncing around all over the place. Will be like a pinball machine

Well Ange has said specifically how he falls in line with his own style so it's reassuring that he's a player wanted by the manager and therefore more chance of it working out. No Djed Spence with this one.

No matter what my views on a new signing, if it's one the manager wants I won't complain.

A really good deal for the 2nd half of the season, and if its a success then we buy him.

Great work by the new DoF.

You can see from last night that Johnson is crap on the left, cannot cross or shoot well enough on his weaker foot. Werner is more natural on that side, has similar pace, lets hope he has some scoring confidence back after Chelsea ruined him.

Also...this guy is oven-ready for United, FA Cup 4th round Brentford and BHA in Son's absence.

Very happy with this business in a tricky market
