'It is also a chance to purge the soul of that souless and disappointing performance v Bradford in the EFL Cup -still look on the bright side, my EFL Wembley final fund can be directed elsewhere......'

How many bottles will that buy ?

Looks like a very late one for me. 8 o'clock kick-off and a detour via Loughborough on the way back to drop off one of the offspring. So we had better win.

Birthdays coming up, new carpet, Valentines Day, 21st celebrations for LNSR, Mrs View…… the fund was accounted for 30 minutes after the final whistle

A new carpet for Valentine's Day. Inspired thinking. You've either got it or you haven't I suppose 🙄

2-0 win and we go second!

What’s the Washington rumour?

Sibley will be lucky to pull on a Derby shirt again. Has failed to take his opportunities in this division too many times

I agree. He has flattered to deceive so many times. I see a lot of fans defending him, saying he is never played “in his proper position” or, if he IS played there, that the rest of the team doesn’t give him the ball quite how he likes it. Ironically, by far his best period for us was when he was played in what seemed was completely out of position as a left back. I thought that would be the making of him, to toughen him up when he went back into midfield. But he doesn’t influence the game enough, only giving the occasional moment of promise. Maybe he needs the right players around him, but that’s a luxury we don’t have in League 1 where you need week-in week-out 7/10 or better performances.

New carpet AND a 21st birthday party.

When exactly, did you decide that the Wembley Royal Box was your preferred seat?

Mornin’ y’all

MATCH DAY!!!!

Morning from Manchester Airport, escaping to somewhere warm for a few days. Win tonight we have Portsmouth in the cross hairs. Annoying that Posh won on Saturday though. My only fear at the moment is that this team isn’t good enough for automatics. More options up front a definite requirement. Settled midfield who know each other’s game and more depth in defence wouldn’t come amiss.

He made a pretty good start to his career but hasn’t built on it. Will his hat trick at Millwall be the peak?

At the moment it looks as though that might be the case but who knows? There are plenty of fans who think that if was given the chance to play regularly we would see more from him but I'm not so sure. He is now jin hi fifth season and has played under a variety of managers without establishing himself. 11 goals in 126 league appearances albeit many of them as sub.

That means he has 7 goals in the last 110 games.

Of all the possible potential departures, Sibley going would worry me the least (and almost not at all).

Hi all, on the sauce in Bangkok for this one, but will attempt to stay awake until 3am local time for kick off. All being well should be back in the South West Upper for the Cheltenham game. 2-0, Sibley out!!!

Hello Lincoln. Not a bit envious......

Any threat of it being snowed-off? Bitter here, roads impassable and I'm not going anywhere. Mrs Heb staying in Stornoway for the week so it's just the thread and a dram for me.......just like the old days, making our own entertainment 🥃
