Can I just say, that if I have upset anybody it's purely intentional. thank you.
Silly old brexiteer Fart thank you.
Well I think Cash has been tremendous this season but he is still learning his trade. No doubt he will be reflecing on the ease with which he was beaten yesterday and thinking about what he could have done better. Against a quick forward it's said that you either go very tight to stop them turning or else you hold back a bit so that you have a head start when they kick it past you, at which point you can run across them a bit to slow them down.
He'll learn. He did a few good things too, some good interceptions, a goal-line clearance and some terrific crossfield passes. With a bit of luck there will have been scouts there making critical notes about him in red ink.
I see what you did there Vidal. Smart.
Any chance of getting an analysis on Elder? I was rather looking forward to his impact based on what I'd read about him and what he could offer. It's really not worked out for him, not helped by the fact we're much better as a four at the back then with wing backs.
I thought he got a bit of harsh criticism from some around me yesterday who seem to have already decided he is no good. He had a couple of poor touches in the first half but after getting booked I thought he was disciplined and fairly solid in defence. He ran with the ball well down the left in the second half. I would say we should be looking for better next season though. There has been a slight rumour that Haydon Roberts might return on loan in this window which I would jump at.
Cheers.
With Forsyth and Elder available for left back, Sibley 'possibly' offering his better performances in that role and Liam Thompson used during the summer as a LWB not sure Roberts makes sense?
Corey Blackett-Taylor will be an exciting prospect if he's able to settle in quickly and if Moxon is our target and proves he can make the step up playing for a bigger club and offering assists we'd certainly be in a good position for the 'business half' of the season.

I had him down as a slight, tricky winger. He's quite the opposite, strong and powerful.
I wouldn't be surprised if Sibley moved on and I don't see Tommo as a realistic left back on a 4-4-2 or 4-3-3. I doubt it's a realistic rumour but I do think Roberts would improve the team. Priorities are elsewhere though.

Thanks Desi. Reminds me of Conor Sammon in his pomp.
If "pomp" means "dreams" then yes.
Possibly harsh. As a matter of interest, and if not a rude question, what did you want to be when you grew up, and where did out all go wrong?
A hermit, and I'm still hopeful.

That's what I am. I would invite you to join me but that would rather defeat the object.
Defeating the object was my other ambition.
Kaide Gordon possibly making his league debut for Liverpool today coming on as a 94th minute sub.
I think he played once for them before his injury.
Well done everybody. Lincoln away, goaless draw, lots to discuss, 400+ comments, Great performance all round

Unusual one, we normally have these communal brainfarts after a loss
Looking out for the ACON results and can see Namibia have lost their second game 4-0 to South Africa. Hopefully they lose game three too so that Nyanbe returns ASAP.
A quick observation and South Africa had a player on the pitch called Sithole, he was up against Namibia's
sheetembi (see actually spelling as it won't let me post it)
Just a quick one about Cashin, for those who thought he wasn't up to the game on Saturday
