Is vdV the best centre back in the world?

We have a back four...
Porro, Romero, vdv, Udogie

That's pretty hard to improve upon. And then there's Draguisin. A nice problem to have because that guy ain't going to be happy on the bench.

Our current problems lie in the midfield where we've had injuries, and on the wings where players are good but unreliable
Having Son back, uninjured will be great.
And this rumor about Bissouma having Malaria is troubling. He will regret not taking the usual precautions because its record will degrade his value for the rest of his career.

Delusion at it's best. He is not even top 20 in the league. Only good thing he has is 'He is fast for his height".
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Name the 20 who are better.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Easy

Van Dijk, Konate, Thiago Silva, Gabriel, Saliba, Dias, Ake, Akanji, Gvardiol, Martinez, Varane, Botman, Schaar, Torres, Konsa, Zouma, Dunk, Guehi, Anderson, Branthwaite
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You missed Gomez, Quansah (who is the kid that changed Klopps mind on signing VDV) & Silva (even at 39)

If he was playing for Varpool`s 13 men he would be lauded as the second coming of Jesus.

He is top class, and does not need to get away with red card tackles and giving away clear penalties etc like what VVD does at Varpool.

He will be frighteningly good in a couple more years as he irons out his game.

Bet he's been dribbled past this season though.

Is this the same Varpool who has received apologies this season for incorrect calls being given, most notably in the only defeat of the season against Spurs. VarSpurs then?

Sorry didn't realise Kane was still playing for Spurs and had scored against us this season. When was that?

Good to see Kane playing for Spurs this season after signing a contract with Bayern. That's dedication.

No. It's too soon, he needs to prove himself longer, and at many levels not just in the league before he can be seen as the best in the world.

He looks great and this time next year we will be without hesitation naming him among the all time best Centre backs for Spurs

Would definitely put him in the top 5 on this season so far. He’s been fabulous he really has. But still got a way to go to be in the top 3 of VVD, Konate and Saliba.

What's funny about that?

How is Konate better than Van de Ven?? Don’t see it myself. Only a deluded scouser would believe it
