He's a player I always liked, can do a bit of everything. But I fear his level isn't quite high enough for us, physically or mentally.

Did you watch the game Sheriff. He covered acres, passed the ball well and prevented two certain goals with last ditch tackles.
Luton fans rate him very highly.

Recoup what we paid and move him on, he's had his chances. I will say that last ditch block to stop a goal was excellent, great determination to get back.

What game were you watching? Even the usually blinkered Gary Neville acknowledged Sambi played very well.
Of course you had chances because you parked the bus and played on the counter.

If our players were not inept at finishing like they always are then it could have been a hammering. It deserved to be a hammering.

Neville is the worst analyser of football games I have seen on TV.

Agree; really liked what I saw of Sambi today. Hope he stays injury free.

I like him, but realistically I don't think he's cut for the level we aspire to and we're just inflating his value, which is fine.

You never know though, he might just mature a little late.

Just checked the stats and Luton are 20th for XG against with 57.62 lol. If he was that good then Luton wouldn’t be so wide open.

You concede 58% possession and 22 shots to a promoted side whom the £90 million you wasted on Anthony dwarfs the cost of their entire team (including their ground, yet have no shame in coming here to sprout rubbish.

Most of those shots were from distance. I wasn’t worried most of the game we would concede. Very rare for that.

Luton manager seems to be very impressed with him.

The boy had a good game, and made a brilliant last-ditch block on Bruno. I'm not sure why anyone is trashing him. He is still 24 and Arsenal will be getting rid of a few midfielders so he has a chance to come back to the team, at least as a squad player.

Sambi has been outstanding for Luton recently.

Sambi's career at Arsenal depends on the next summer transfer window. If Elneny and Partey moving and Sambi's devlopment going in the right direction I can see a future for him at Arsenal as a squad player.
