See him play a lot better than that but no doubt he’s a star in the making

Story about GON in his playing days in the press today. He was playing for Boro at the time and on 9 bookings so one away from a 2 game suspension. He thought it was inevitable he would get a 10th at some stage so he deliberately got booked when they were 4-1 down in a game, knowing that he would then be able to stay at home the following weekend and watch the Augusta Masters on tv at home with his mates

I’d probably done the same if I’m honest, no doubt most of you lot on here would have as well.

He is a plus golfer which is quite amazing. Actually tried to qualify for a major I believe.

Dexter played as a wing back, which I think is his best position and that goal just re-iterates what I posted earlier. i.e.

..."He has very good pace and a stunning shot when he gets a chance. Unfortunately we saw neither last night."

Well, we saw that last night and it's the reason I'd like to keep him with us next season and not go out on loan, like some want.

Reading that Wolves on average make their first substitution in Premier League games earlier than every team except Sheffield Utd and Brighton. Strange in a way given we often have a weak bench, but our average is probably skewed by us needing to make a few first half changes due to injuries.

The clubs that on average are latest making changes in games are those managed by the old timers Moyes, Dyche and Hodgson.

Good start for the international career of Joao Gomes. After making his debut at Wembley, tonight if selected he will play at the Bernabeu, the home of Real Madrid and Spain. That game doesn't kick off until 8:30 uk time.

In Budapest for a few days away, thought about getting tickets for their friendly against Kosovo but were told it's sold out out so watching in a bar with the magyars, won 2-0, Bolla started, is he still a wolves player or have we shipped him off now?

Gomes starts for Brazil, but Sarabia is on the bench.

Apparently we still own Bolla , cracking city Budapest would recommend outdoor spa and those chimney cakes but not at the same time

Bolla is out on loan, difficult to imagine him coming back to play for Wolves. Guess like one or two others he’ll be on the payroll until his contract runs out

Went to Budapest once. Great city. Stayed on the Buda side close to a great bar that sold good beer and played good music with the walls decorated with album covers.

Is the other side of the city called "Pest"?

I've stayed on both the Buda side and the Pest side. I've been once with my wife and then once on a stag do. Two very different experiences.

Really enjoyed it there both times though. Great city to visit.

Bendegúz Bolla was a strange signing. Bought for 2m euros and loaned out the very next day to Grasshoppers. Now at Servette with an option to buy at the end of this season. Still has 2 more years on his contract. Not played a minute for the first team.

Another great example of the club using the loan market to get players valuable minutes.

Come on goldi it’s depressing to keep looking back on the Coventry thread. Time to refocus on the league, even if you put up a thread in Hungarian

Goldi has asked will anyone do the new article on this occasion.
