Fantastic result given what's happening around us!
Look forward to seeing that goal.

Good day at the office

Yeah same, last weekend was a set back but it feels like we made up for that now with the results today and our decent GD

And suddenly last week doesn't seem to matter.
6 points plus ➕️ GD.
Games running out.
We've got this

Dangerous talk, never underestimate Derby’s ability to **** up.

Games in hand or points in the bag ?

I'll take the latter at this stage of the season.

I think we should prepare ourselves for more twists between now and Carlisle. This isn't going to be straightforward as we displayed last week and Posh, Bolton, Barnsley have this week.

Get a result at Pompey and it'll be a great way to make up for the Northampton result.

Pompey will be interesting ... they won't want to lose, a draw would arguably suit both teams. Could be a bit of a chess game.

We can lose the Portsmouth game now and still have our future in our own hands but I’d rather us not.

Apart from the final ten minutes or so this was more comfortable than the score suggests in that, for all Blackpool's neat possession, they only forced Wildsmith into one save and that from a free kick.

There were some great individual performances with Cash, Nels and Adams outstanding. CBT showed, especially in the first half, what a dangerous and exciting player he is and Wilson did some fabulous saving work in the latter stages of the game. Ward also did some good, athletic work. In fact all played their part and there were some tired bodies at the end.

It was great to see Collo again and Fornah made a late and telling contribution. I do ask - where was Elder; surely not injured yet again?

My only criticism is the way we stood off their back three and allowed them all the time in the world to faff about. It worked in the end but it reminded me of the approach away at Barnsley where it did not work! But a great day with other results going our way.

Just wondering, if we were to look at signing Adams how much would it cost us ? He's got a contract with Cardiff until 2025 and as he's done well and become a fan favourite it will drive up his price.

Whatever the cost we should make every effort to sign him.

£300/500K max and well worth every penny. Top of the shopping list for me. His impact has been huge. On the other hand, have we missed Bird since he's been injured?

posted on 29/3/24

That's a difficult one Peeder. He is quality but we have done well enough without him and would he have made any difference at Northampton? I doubt it. Whatever, we will have to replace him next season and I would not regard Adams as a replacement but as essential in his own right.

Chicago - I agree that Adams is essential to get back next season. I like Bird a lot, if I'm honest but it seems to be better balanced with Adams and Smith than it was with Bird and Hourihane.

Well...I put this victory down to my "new" lucky Rams shirt...which everybody seems to be ignoring....
This current run we're on reminds me of the promotion season under Cloughie....68/69. We won many games as I recall by the odd goal with Brian's philosophy at the time being if we could stop the opposition scoring we were in with a good chance.
It was good to see some familiar faces back in the squad [but where was Elder] ... and I thought too that CBT looked good in the 1st half. I do think that our recent resurgence has much to do with Adams and here's hoping he stays fit for the next 5 games.
Whilst Bradley was a right idiot last week we are now down to the bare bones in defence and I'd feel a bit more comfortable knowing he was at least on the bench.
So, all in a a satisfying result...and of course at this stage of the season I'll take points over performances.
Cheers. Terry. UTR

Oxford still to play Lincoln and Stevenage so points being dropped by at least 2 of the 3. I can't see even us not making the play offs now 😕

Their quality will differ in the Championship. Adams for all his strengths at L1 may be found slightly lightweight at Championship level and Bird, although considered lightweight may well showcase his strengths in a higher division with his passing range and movement.

Your lucky shirt and Fin booking Kung Fu Panda 🐼 were the lucky omens for me.

After Views faux pas of shading the MT tangerine we needed some form of sign.

A big, huge, fighting Black and White panda was just the sign I needed for reassurance.

So Fin.... this will now have to be a weekly occurrence for us superstitious fans to ensure we see the promotion campaign through.

Just another 5 visits.

Never in any doubt - I always thought that we would be architects of any equaliser with a stupid mistake or not clearing the ball.
We didn’t and the only fly in the ointment was my mother phoning wanting to know why I wasn’t at church 😳 at 3.00pm

A disciplined performance and we restricted Blackpool to very little. Considering the injury list this was a very good win. How fabulous are our centre halves?

I was disappointed with Washington who had next to no impact. He didn't close down, or make runs into space or get on the ball at all. Collins did far better in his cameo. He won a couple of fouls and free kicks and did a neat lay off or two which calmed us down and got us up the pitch. Wilson also was very good and CBT is no longer looking like a dud signing.

The other results were a huge bonus. It will be a very tough one on Tuesday with the squad still so depleted but we now have a bit of breathing space again so perhaps that might allow us to play without fear.

To be fair I missed the second half of the movie due to the football so another visit might be in order. And I may have harshly judged the chameleon so perhaps I should confirm that.
