Surely supporting someone you don't care for, JUST because they win trophies, defeats the purpose, because you wouldn't really care about the win

Far more likely that a choice of team is about a brand of football, particular player / players and who friends and family follow.

It's blatant copium.

City are actually evidence that people don't really glory hunt. If they did, City would have more than 20 fans and wouldn't have to keep begging schools to attend games with free tickets.

Not that social media is much of an indicator but the fact a teenager scoring a goal for United got more than twice the attention that the official City announcement of winning a treble did is utterly hilarious.

Like I said, pure copium.

I like Bowen, but he’s at his peak and I think he’d fetch £70m plus, unless he’s near the end of his deal?

I think there’s better talent for that sort of figure.

He just signed a long term.deal so sadly not, but still, £70m seems steep.
