I wonder whether this has anything to do with FFP?

Surely almost all purchases are structured this way with players bought in installments rather than in lump sums.

You’ve referenced Kieren Maguire on Twitter and asked a question regarding FFP.

But you must know the answer because he’s repeatedly told everyone on that thread that there are no PSR (new FFP term) concerns and that everything’s fine.

Although he does go on to say if there are any financial difficulties in the future it will be Bamford’s fault.

Structure of payment terms nothing to do with FFP.

Havefaith

Its very strange behaviour.

Posting this to try to get one up on me (obvious he’s talking about me saying how Leicester are disgrace with FFP)

Without having a clue about FFP 🤦🤦🤦

All because I keep making him look a mug, with his b@llsheet

PSR is P&L-driven; this pertains to Balance Sheet movements

posted on 11/4/24

Surely that's the principle of a mortgage, hp, any finance, credit card, loan arrangement that if you literally take the total outstanding balance you owe it would sound or look ugly as in what Leeds owe in transfer installments 129 odd million but it's perfectly manageable and structured within the whatever time period to pay it all off like you would a mortgage and so I don't really see what the Ipswich boss, a huge Man U fan, is bringing this up because his beloved Man U owe nearly 10 times that so he's clearly trying to play mind games and make implications of FFP breaches like Leicester which are not true as our latest accounts show the club has made acceptable losses last year within what is permissable by the EPL and EFL.

I was including myself. I've had a go at them on Leicester's pages. And on here. I want the EFL to
deduct points from them. They cheated.

Not about you.

How's your bet though?

I got 8/1, we are currently 7/2, so could lay it off and make a few quid.

What a strange thing to ask 🤷🏻‍♂️ Its like you want us to not win the Title, so you can say to me, “you got it wrong haha”. I put my money where my mouth before the contract situation came apparent, still happy, had a cracking run for my money.

Are you this needed, bitter and weird with ex girlfriends/boyfriends ?

It is/was a genuine question. I did not know the answer.

Nope. Accounting might be the single most boring
aspect of football there is. I was rightly hoping the
nerds on here would answer the question after
diving head first into Maguire's post/article.

And you did. Cheers

it is boring but it affects the club so much these days.
i never cared about this stuff, even player contracts but now it all has so much to do with even which league were playing in.
ah for simpler times.

Exactly mont.

Boring as hell. But part of the game that can have
huge ramifications for any and all clubs. Seems like
my question was answered though. So for now we
seem nowhere near the trouble Leicester are in.

We never er were in trouble but 49ers used it as excuse not to invest heavily in players and fans fell for it.
