Where’s this Rangers having 4 home games after the split coming from?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Because we complained that the SPFL wanted to give them 5 home games.

A lot of wild reactions after yesterday so a bit of common sense in this post.

The result yesterday is obviously very frustrating from our point of view but in reality doesn't change a lot. We will all be clearer on where the league is going after the final OF game at Parkhead.

I can understand why many now view Celtic as clear favourites but from our perspective its still in our own hands. Think the Manager will need to make a few changes however for the run in from here - a few look like they are on empty and others seem to have hit a dip in form. He has made some big calls before with individuals and might need to do similar if we manage to drag ourselves through the next 6 games.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

It changes things because it gives a pretty strong response to the question 'do this Rangers team have the bottle to win the league?'.

Its a minor miracle we are even in a title race so I am not ruling it out altogether.

However it would be a HUGE shock for me now if somehow Rangers turned into an unstoppable winning machine after the recent downturn in form.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I see bottle getting rolled out a lot.

That was Clement’s 24th league game for Rangers:

Clement = 59pts

Beale = 59pts

GVB = 56pts

Re the OP, perhaps not over by a long shot, but reckon a pitching iron is all you bhoys need.
Agree with Gersmid, didn't see any sign of bottle crashing, just complacency with little desire to win a football match until it was too late. The exact opposite of Ross County who played with the right attitude from the first minute.
The only upside I can see at present is that it may be psychologically better for us to go to Parkhead needing a win rather than "only" a draw. Whether we get anything from that fixture I'd have to say is unlikely.

Yeah at half time on Saturday your thinking oh no here we go again. The crap celtic have turned up today

Thankfully we turned up second half
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I don't think anyone was concerned at half time on Saturday. It had the feeling of the inevitable break through

There have been games where I worried but Saturday wasn't one of them
----------------------------------------------------------------------
100%. It was only a matter of time.

I'm with JFK on this one as well - put me on the 'I was concerned' list.

Proper clutching at straws, but here is hoping that the defeat to Ross County at the weekend is the boot up the backside that this squad of ours has been needing

Got out of jail against you at Ibrox with a draw
Expected a response after that dismal first half in the old firm, what was served up was equally as bad, if not worse, then the second half was nothing other than a complete and utter collapse defensively.

Lundstram was fcking awful at the weekend, but I do not want to see Borna Barisic in a Rangers shirt ever again, people go on about how bad Tav is defensively, but ffs Borna is 10x worse.

He stands and watches Murray take two bits at the cherry for the first.

For the second, he's so far up the park that Lundstram has to step into LB and do his job for him (Which he does woefully btw), but the ball is in the net and the County player is wheeling away and celebrating before Barisic even appears to be within about 40 yards, absolutely no effort to get back and help out.

Clement hooked him after that second goal, and although we concede again, Sterling is at least in the box marking his man and only steps off him to try and put a tackle in, because Lundstram again, hasn't tracked the late run from midfield.

Woeful stuff, I really hope Clement has been throwing the book at them these past couple days, because if we perform like that again against anyone, we deserve fck all

Big Phil. A 'proper' Rangers manager apparently. Wee Barry says he'd be terrifying in the dressing room abs probably gives out a few slaps.
The whole club is mired in the 60's.

if clement tried to slap you he would miss.

but its ok, because you would still feel the impact, as it would be a moral slap.

You'll hammer Dundee tomorrow night because they simply they have nothing to play for in real terms. They can't make Europe and the money they'll get between 6th and 5th is negligible.

Despite all the ragtop headlines and the ridiculous usual over reactionary statement from Rangers, the players won't really give a damn.

Then no doubt all the doom and gloom merchants will find new hope.

sigh

Free flowing football expected or will Rangers just cross it 20000 times and at the end after scoring a penalty we'll be hearing how Tav is a legend again

Six months into Phil’s phenomenal Rangers career - as he keeps reminding us. The Dundee game might help clarify:
Is the new Manager bounce over - don’t think it’s been mentioned? 😉
Does Phil know his best 11?
Is he rotating unnecessarily?
Is Fabio in the huff and downed tools?
Have we all played with a better striker than Dressers?
Have the opposition figured out how to nullify Philball?
Is Tav right and we’ll see the real Rangers … next game?
