Yeah I actually find this offensive, we’ve won 3x the euro trophies they have and have been to a CL final more recently than them, a run that included one of the most famous comebacks of all time and knocking out Pep’s City side without Harry Kane.

Difficult one to judge - on the one hand the comp pre 1990 or at least pre the great Milan side of the late 80’s wasn’t exactly difficult to win if you were in it.

On the other hand, getting in it required you being champions or the previous winner so was incredibly difficult

The real question is will Arsenal ever win it when they never look capable and I mean ever, of beating a euro giant in a knockout game - you lack that pedigree.

And Yes United have been poor, but they won a trophy last year and will likely be in the FA cup final this year - probably getting slapped by City, but still

I called it all week, one here yesterday as well - they have no pedigree of winning these sort of games, honestly Spurs have more pedigree of getting over the line in Europe. When it gets tough and comes down to fine margins in the late stages of Euro comps, they always go missing.

Truth be told this is a team in a completely different lifecycle to the one we had under Wenger repeating the same mistakes. We made progress from last season, went out on narrow margins and we'll like be back next season with a better and more mature squad.

Frustrating night but you'd have to be really fragile to get wound up by comments from Spurs or Utd fans.
