Quite the opposite, we're a fairly modest club, so all things considered it's pretty fair to say we have a far better history than your lot relative to each club's size and potential.

Enjoy your time back in the PL. I wonder just how good it feels to know you've earned your way back the easy way, with massive parachute payments and a squad assembled by living well beyond your means. Such is the nature of the beast that you can't be punished for using that unfair advantage but instead rewarded by being allowed a year of playing the playground bully against opposition half your size. You must be so proud.

You have a point. We’ve exploited a loophole this season by being relegated in the last one and avoiding any charges for the EPL offence. One thing I would say is - we didn’t write the rules, that’s a loophole that just shouldn’t exist.

In terms of breaching EFLs PSR for this season - well this season hasn’t finished. The reporting period ends on 30th June so the club can sell players and still be compliant. The transfer embargo imposed by the EFL is ridiculous because no EFL breach has occurred. That’s why we’ve taken legal action and why we’ll likely beat the EFL for a 2nd time on the matter. They’re an embarrassment

So we’ve done what I think a lot of other mid size clubs would have done. Taken advantage of something that shouldn’t be there. But it will catch up with us
