Rudkin Leaving?

Hasn't this rumour come from a well known parody account? Would be a great move though to freshen up that part of the club.

Could be good news, but will it happen?
Exit package? Boot up the backside be more appropriate.
Form and orderly queue please.

I can’t see it Mersey. If Top was going to take decisive action on Rudkin then it would have been when he calamitously backed Rodgers and oversaw the quickest demise of a football club in recent history. If he was going to bin Rudkin off - he would have done it then, not when the man Rudkin has backed has just got us promotion

The only way Rudkin leaves for me is if he wants to. That’s how weak I think Top is.

I worry you’re right but I hope you’re wrong. It would be a genuine sign Top is really beginning to stamp his authority on the club. But Rudkin was always trusted so we’ll see what happens.

Don’t get me wrong, if this happen all 98 of my problems are gone! Honestly - you’ll see a different poster, I’ll running down the street in my pants screaming ‘Leicester are back’”. I want to be wrong about Top more than anything!

I had to check the date to make sure it wasn't the start of the month when I saw this post. As the poster formerly known as 99P indicates, if this is true it depends on the context of him leaving; if it's because Top has finally seen sense, realised who is at the root of our current problems and applied boot to rear end then that's one thing. If on the other hand Rudders is tired of being a one man scapegoat for all the club's ills and is walking out the door then that doesn't let Top off the hook.

Indeed, in full 'be careful what you wish for' mode, if it is the latter scenario then the question is who replaces him - do you have any faith in Top to make the right appointment? If it's the former situation and he's being sacked, then that's the sign of Top finally taking strong and appropriate action; a tad belatedly perhaps, but more promising for the future.

Having said which, a massive golden goodbye isn't going to help us much with our FFP travails presumably?

In general though, a frabjuous even ecstatic time if this comes to pass.
