Here we go, making pointless comparisons with the men’s game. It’s great they’re getting the coverage and exposure and I’m sure the standards will rise but let’s be honest, it’s really low level. To not admit that is just pandering to the idea that the women’s game should be beyond criticism which is totally wrong.

Spurs WSL fans know how the mens fans feel like, leaving early and disappointed

Hopefully a winning day for Utd all round.

yeah true about levels shown by SPurs WSL but Utd have shown better quality and tactics....JUst unbelievable how far the ladies are from Utd counterpart

That’s my point. There’s a chasm between the standards so we shouldn’t be merging successes together as the women haven’t had long enough and the pain of not winning for so long is owned by the men’s team. Separating them out conversely supports the women’s game. By making comparisons, however favourable, are completely skewed and inaccurate.
