In a way it's very unlucky to be up against this City side. Would have won the league with these points in almost any other season.
The challenge now is whether we can reproduce it next season. We have been lucky with injuries to key players (Timber aside) and a few last minute winners.
Will be difficult to replicate this consistency next season.
Total neutral here, and yes plenty of respect from me. Quality striker is maybe your biggest single requirement to take the final step up. I’d also add that I wouldn’t expect City to go AWOL in the first half of future seasons like they did in this one, when they had world club champs bollox to contend with. Imagine they’ll raise the bar even higher next time.

Welcome to our world…
It's true, I view Arsenal in a light that they haven't been viewed in a couple of decades. First time I've envied them since the early 2000s!
Probably shouldn't want them to win the league but I'd prefer some variety over another city win.

Arsenal get my respect for a great season but Liverpool did have a few seasons they would have won it any other era.
That peak Liverpool team under klopp was one of the best teams of the prem era.
Mane - Firminho - Salah was a devasting forward line and even they more often than not, came. 2nd best to City

For sure. The standards City have set in the league are unmatched.

Everton and Forest tried, but fell short.
Good thing for Arsenal is that your best players are still early to mid 20s so this kind of form is repeatable next few seasons.
With us our players started to hit their peak when we won and there was always a need for a rebuild. Plus your medical team are just as important and they have been the best this season.
City might have a busy summer.
Bernardo Silva has a reasonable buy out. Finally Barca bound? Paqueta probably the replacement but has he got the betting ban hanging over him?
Grealish likely to be moved on if a buyer can be found.
KDB getting on, he will be 33 by next season and although he won't be replaced they might buy an heir.
Walker is 34 in a couple of weeks. A position that might need looked at.
Arsenal need to keep the same approach as last summer go big on a couple of positions and get the highest quality they can.
LB, CM and CFx 2 if Jesus moves on.
This Arsenal team have brought a huge amount of pride back into Arsenal. I had my doubts about Arteta in the past but for such a young coach he has shown, a drive to win, humility to learn and change (less manic touchline arteta). Credit to the whole Arsenal staff.
The challenge now is to get 90+pts which what I have always thought is needed to win a title in the Pep era. It's possible, we don't even have a natural goal scorer in the squad. Havertz has done well, but as we know if we are going to compete in Europe as well there is enough space for a striker. I expect Edu will do what he can with an eye on the wage bill as well.
Arsenal have been superb all season and the best team in the league IMO. You’ve got lucky with injuries and a few refereeing decisions.
Next year it’ll be important to round that out with a decent showing in Europe. You’re too good not to be getting past the quarters.
I think you’ll win it anyway.
As maureen said. 2nd is the 1st loser. Let's hope it is city finishing as the 1st loser
