It’s funny that most people’s 11 is the same as last season. Exciting times.

This is the summer though guys. Ange is cooking in his second season and Levy will have to back him.

Ange said it’s important we get players in early and bolster our attack - did he mean Werner?
We’re FFP kings and the richest club in London so it’ll all be good.

But The Euros
But Copa America
But it’s hard to sign players
But City haven’t signed anyone.
But Ange will definitely play all the kids so it’s fine.

Still two weeks until the season starts and we don’t really need our new signings to have any sort of preseason with their new team mates.

If Eze does actually end up signing, it’s going to be hailed as a Klinsmann-level coup🤣
Poor kid’s going to have weight of White Hart Lane on his shoulders.
He’s a really good player and miles better than what we have so🤞🏻 Just don’t think it’s the marquee signing
It will be made out to be.

just not true at all about Udogie. averaged under 1 cross per game at udinese. He was a wingback who liked to get into the box and play short combinations, it's why he's been so good at inverting, that's his game.

personally I find the narrative that Ange is wasting our fullbacks, when everyone agrees that they were two of our best performers in his team last season, confusing

I think we’ve got to find a way of not shipping 60+ goals.

Now we all look at our defenders and think they’re the best we’ve had in a while so why are we shipping so many goals? It’s either the players aren’t that great or Ange tactics?

Something’s got to change. Maybe he’ll change the system and drop the defence 10 yards or only invert one of the full backs - like City do I think.

Add to that a very average front line (bar Son , who’s on the downward now due to age etc) and a midfield that most people could agree wasnt really functioning that well, and we’re definitely in need of some smart recruitment in areas of need.

Or maybe they just know how to play Ange’s system now and it’ll be different this year.

I think to solve the letting in goals/ openness within his system, you play the full backs wider or you buy a proper DM/ 6 who doesn’t get as far forward.

I think to improve the goal scoring and forward play, it comes down to personnel. Hopefully they get a couple in of the quality needed to improve the starting 11. You’d think doing it sooner rather than later might be a good idea.

It is the tactics clearly. I always call him Aussie Ardilles just tactically so far out of his depth. Three passes and your in.

Both Ange and us as fans need additions because as it stands i think we all pick the same lineup as last season.

Kulu on the right, bj left, son central. Madders, biss, sarr and we all know the rest.

That is not how we play though, it is pass and run.

Although in pre season we have made an effort to hold the ball more by going more sideways. I suspect that will result in less goals scored but the same conceeded if teams are smart to cut us out centrally.

With a winger as a centre forward we are never gonna hold the ball up either it will always bounce back.

well he's certainly good enough, he was one of the most productive players in the league last season on a per game basis. his problem is he can't stay fit, hence why we should be looking to bring in another option as I said.

Son had 17 goals and 10 assists last season in the PL, same as Foden, more than Saka. don't see why we would expect him to suddenly not be good enough

he's 32 not 35
