Vic
Porro Romero VDV Udogie
Biss Sarr
Maddison
BJ Kulu Son
With Solanke on later in the game.
Leicester are in an absolute state and have some key injuries for this one. It does not bode well if we can’t win this.
I think 2-0 Spurs, with Cooper trying to make it as boring as humanly possible.
Vicario
Porro Romero VdV Udogie
Sarr Bissouma Maddison
Kulusevski Solanke Son
Bench: Austin, Davies, Dragusin, Gray, Bentancur, Bergvall, BJ, Werner, Moore
Moore or Lankshear on the bench in Richarlison absence
hopefully he changes things before its too late if the midfield isnt working

Its an interesting point re midfield...... We were woeful in MF for the second half of last season having thrown away a good start to miss out on CL, we don't appear to have changed our tactics, we sign a 40mln quid new midfielder yet everyone seems desperate to start Biss, Sarr & Madders... Don't get it
TBH Id have no issue starting Gray, Sarr & Bergvall in MF.... Young, talented, hungry, mobile and all looking to impress.... Would be a real statement to the likes of Madders & Biss that they cant take anything for granted and there competiton for places
i think it is important to have as many of the midfielders to be comfortable dropping in and receiving the ball from defenders rather than driving forward with it or passing backwards then moving forwards
Leicester City look awful pre-season, if you look at the stats and highlights.
My fav player to hate who i think is a charlatan as a football player Wout Faes should get a lot of joy against him.
That being said i think we continue to be stubborn and persist with what does not work at this level.
3-2 Leicester.
Solanke and Son for us. Two set piece goals for them and a vardy or fatawu goal on the counter.
Monday night football gonna be a great game for the neutral.
i think with the full backs playing quite narrow and high up, we could benefit from a double pivot or at least the '6' screening. not sure the current overload is going to work
Usual line up with solanke in for BJ.
vic, porro, romero, vdv, udogie, biss, sarr, madders, son, kulu, solanke
The back line speaks for itself. It's really only the midfield pairing and RW that there's too much debate over as I think we'd all agree about starting Solanke up front and seeing how he does. BJ or Kulu? I'd go Kulu and then Biss and Sarr behind Madds.
Vic
Porro Cuti VDV Udogie
Deki Biss Madders
Brennan Solanke Son
what id pick, I would suspect Ange starts Sarr over one of Deki or Brennan though
3-0 win

I don't put our "woeful midfield" (a bit OTT) as being a problem of personnel. The same personnel dominated in the first 10 games of the season.
For me it's a case of maintaining consistently high levels. We have seen Biss be superb and poor. Some want him gone on the strength of his poor performance but he is capable of superb play, as they all are.
We have a few more numbers to keep pressure on performance which should drive a bit more consistency. Will be nice to have Lolo properly back, he wasnt himself after his return from injury.
That said, i want us to make another CM signing which isnt Gallagher!
Think we also need to refine our tactics a bit and to better maintain our high press but the squad should better understand what is expected of them in Ange's 2nd season.

because Leicester are gonna be unbelievably defensive if the way cooper set forest up against us is anything to go by

We will face a very defensive and unconfident Leicester.
Their home crowd will give them a boost but that could turn bad if we start to dominate them.
There is general ire at the club about their owners and the financial mess and a lack of spending so i don't think it will take much for them to show some discontent.
Like last season, our style demands energy and commitment and we had bundles of that when we were fresh in the early part of the season...so i expect us to be all over them and will totally dominate with a 3-0 win They won't know what's hit them ! and will not know how to respond.
Welcome back Leicester !

Sarr & Biss had all of last season with very little competition and really only played well for 25% of the season. We have spent money on new young hungry players who have impressed in pre-season. We are playing a weak Leicester team with a lot of injuries (not prime Man City). Personally, I don't think anyone did enough last season to make them a guaranteed starters this year. Id love Spurs to get back to that high energy, high press midfield with players that have something to prove (Prime Poch era)..... always got Biss & Madders to come on if it all goes tlts up
Ange confirmed Biss suspended by the club for Monday's game
