Vicario is not top keeper imo anyway. He has the air of vulnerability on corners and setpieces.
A whacko waiting to fail.
Apparently he has been given "extra" responsibities by Ange and must have felt the need to abuse it
I prefer Bergvall to him as a player. We don't players who are afriad to take risks, like BJ or Davies.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This is the amount of errors leading to a goal last season by Vicario...... here's a clue, it's the same number as you have braincells.........0
outside looking in, Levy really is the worst.
reminds me of the celtic board, just constantly frustrating fans by being cheap.
he expects things to happen without strengthening the squad to do it, or so it seems.
comes across as one of those schmucks who just likes the attention of owning a football club.
Christ, it wasn't that bad. Bergvall made an error in a dangerous area of the pitch and gave the ball away so I'm glad there are senior players happy to give a rollicking. It's obviously not nice to go through but he'll learn quickly. I remember Schmeichel doing that routinely to the class of 92 when they were coming through. He used to absolutely scream at them for making errors. Didn't do them any harm. We've got to stop treating players like delicate flowers. It's not meant to be easy. It's tough, ruthless and hard to hear but he'll learn from it.
The bottom line is that although Ange likes to play out from the back and encourage bravery, if you're out of options and penned in, kicking into row z isn't an admission of failure, it's a strategic opportunity to limit your losses and allow cover to track back. I like bravery in forward passes and ball carrying but just not that deep. Vicario was right to call him out. I've seen Vic give that treatment to every player since he's been here. It was a more obvious error than the Romero one so it's easier to spot.Vic might have been unsure who's man Vardy's was, Romero's or the covering RB, so it's harder to break down.
He'll get over it.

Not sure some of our fans will get over it.
They seem intent on criticising everything, even if it's a player who was one of our best performers, for showing a bit of leadership.
To be fair Vicario was more commanding this game, was a lot more vocal. I think the cameras picked up on the vocalising to Bergvall but not him constantly barking at others.

yeah, I don't buy the fact that Vicario should keep his mouth shut on account of his own errors leading to goals. That's not the point. I'm glad he has the kind of leadership qualities to speak up in spite of his own faults. That's what we're missing, particularly now we've flogged our many of the squad leaders we once had. Don't take issue with it at all.
Schmeichel was often off his line and getting lobbed. Didn't stop him dishing out an earful to others when it was necessary.

Also, he's a professional footballer. That sort of behaviour happens every day on the training pitch. If he hasn't built the kind of resilience needed to deal with something like that, he never will. Some of the best players the premier league has ever seen have had to ride this wave. I doubt Bergvall is hurt by it. He's more likely to be self-reflective, considering what he could have done better, which is the right attitude.
If we end up in a situation where senior pros, and Vic is one at 27, can't shout at youngsters when they nearly cost a team, then the game is done. That's what the kids need a balance of encouragement and an iron fist.
