What’s his fitness like? Liked what I’ve seen of him in the past and a more interesting option than Sterling.

Injuries a concern but even then he'd still be a more useful player than Sancho, Antony and, by the looks of his form in preseason and since the season started, Rashford.

Wasn't he the one who embarrassed Maguire in the euro final or am I thinking of someone else

I suggested this a couple of days ago, and everyone shаt on the notion. Then savant-Rosso says it and everyone's "woah, great idea".

Always liked the look of Chiesa, and felt he’d be suited to the PL. Him and Garnacho on either wing would make for a great counter attack.

Hypothetically, yes I’d be up for that move.

This is such an eventful transfer window that a massive surprise may be waiting for us on transfer deadline day!

last 3 seasons he has averaged c. 1700 minutes in all competitions (though improving each season), so the equivalent of 19 full matches a season.

i'm sure our medical team would do their best to get that down to below 1000 minutes per season.

You don't seriously think Utd would ever contemplate buying him back?

United have inserted a significant sell-on clause into the deal, which is thought to be between 40 and 50 per cent. There's no buy back clause.

Mex mentioned on Twitter Chiesa got injured after Euro 2020 and suffered a loss of form.

A change may be what he needs though. He was touted as an £80m player back then if I recall.

He did his ACL, then on returning he had something like 12 injuries.

However last season was mostly injury free making over 30 serie an appearances scoring 9 goals.
