Not sure how you pick a MOM from that! Kenzo brilliant first half but quieter second; Yates quiet first half but brilliant second; JWZ brilliant throughout and what a stunning save late on (how long before Prem clubs start sniffing?); Fozzie, Nels and Cash brilliant throughout with Nyambe not far behind and what a stunning header from Nels for his goal!; Ebou his usual barnstorming best and Harness showing incredible skill, and again, what a goal; Jackson hardworking as ever and creating H's goal with a lovely pass and NML working his socks off.
CBT showed why I think he should play from the start - so dangerous. Wilson showed his amazing dribbling skills. On top of all that we have so many injuries so if and when all are fit we can continue to be a force at least at home. Now's the time to start getting some away results and maybe the Int break is coming at the right time.
Yep great timing for the international break. We were struggling though to break down what I thought was quite a poor side. Perfect world we'd have Ozoh and Adam's holding and then would love to see Harness...Kenzo..... Chirewa behind a striker, against teams that sit back
Well I do hope there will be a thread where we can share our exciting plans for the international break.
Great win. For me only the captain disappointed. I thought Adams and Yates were outstanding in their overall contributions. Fozzy put on a masterclass of how to defend as a full back and the 2 centre halves were as rock-solid as we have cone to expect and yet should not take for granted.
Hats off to the manager who has surprised me and I am sure a few others by demonstrating that he is much more than a one-trick pony. We are showing far more imagination and tactical variety than I thought possible. I'm very happy for him to continue to make me look a fool for doubting him at this level.
Today proves we just need to keep Ang away from our games.
Just watching Nelson's header... I know he was unmarked but the placement and connection...impeccable.

And there's always the EFL Trophy
An interesting game I thought. 1st half we were "almost," good...but not quite 'at it'. 2nd half seemed much improved and rightly came away with the 3 points
These, of course are the games we should be winning eh if we have aspirations of avoiding a relegation battle.
Well done Derby. Cheers. Terry in Spain 🇪🇸
Speaking as enthusiastic but generally uninformed in footy matters, I accept that the aim this season is to avoid relegation, and obviously so. That said, from what I have heard and seen, we are better than that. Mid-table, even giving the play-offs a nudge? I know that promotion means unimaginable defeats and humiliations but we know all about that. Let's look up rather than down. 🐧 🏴
...and just a word for CBT who now looks to be showing some promise. Hopefully he'll get more game time to show what he can do....
...a special word for Harness who was probably the most effective he's been since joining us...
....and of course a special word too for Mr Zan (Zanfish) who is funding a project to send a Fish into orbit. Yes, he's sending it into Trouter Space....
