That's actually quite funny. The roof has finally caved in on EtH, both metaphorically and literally! But who is the biggest loser here? We are, having to endure yet another reset. We’ll only realise the cost of this if the squad overhaul takes a different direction than what it might have under EtH, for instance.
Ideally, the squad should be shaped separately from the manager by Ashworth. Whether we've seen the beginning of that shaping this summer will be telling, especially if we add to the recruits or remove them. The deadwood was already destined to be shown the door in future windows.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We were and are already undergoing a wider, overarching reset anyway; and yeah, we can expect any manager coming in to work with the players they’re given by Berrada, Ashworth and Wilcox.

That's likely where things got a bit muddled. EtH was predominantly a coach at Ajax, with Overmars overseeing transfers. The allure of Utd may have been the role of manager, which included some input on transfers, though the extent of that input is unclear. His close association with most of the recruits would suggest a higher level of input, possibly.
As you mentioned, the new sporting leadership team favours a head coach over a manager. This should limit the input on transfers to simply identifying positions that need to be filled. The sporting team would then analyse, source, and recruit the right profiles for those vacancies within the squad, keeping a long term view in mind, irrespective of who the coach may be.

I dont think its en exaggeration to say that under Ten Hag, with all his daft selections and his very apparent lack of influence and power over the individual players in his squad (even his own ones) and his lack of ability to dictate and coach the required style of play that INEOS require, that if United hadnt have stepped in today to end it and left TH to it as things have been going, getting steadily worse and more unexplainable decisions, that United would, at some point in the not too distant future end up being embroiled in a relegation scrap in the basement of the PL. Of which United have no players whatsoever in this squad which obviously have the metal to step-up and show the fight required to get through that. INEOS had no alternative to act now before United got anywhere near that.
We need goals, wins, and points on the board quickly. Play to the strengths of the players we have. The thought of being dragged into a relegation battle with players in our squad who lack fight, character, and leadership makes me shudder.

Is 'talk in Germany' more solid information than 'apparently'? As in 'apparently the Democrats are about to release a tape of Trump that will blow the election wide open'?
where have people heard all these rumours just 3 hours after TH leaves through the back door.
Apparently TH was going nowhere soon, as usual, just 24 hours ago, according to many United fans.

There’s talk in Germany that we might go for Nagelsmann. Yes facking please.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Is 'talk in Germany' more solid information than 'apparently'? As in 'apparently the Democrats are about to release a tape of Trump that will blow the election wide open'?

where have people heard all these rumours just 3 hours after TH leaves through the back door.
Apparently TH was going nowhere soon, as usual, just 24 hours ago, according to many United fans.

That is pathetic, he should be ashamed

What does that gesture mean? The internet suggests it’s an Italian gesture that denotes "why?"
Playing devil's advocate, it raises questions such as "why was I sold?" Or "why has EtH been fired now?" There may be no actual link to anything, so perhaps we’re reading too much into an emoji that lacks context!

I think in internet usage nowadays it means something is perfect. It's like a chef's kiss.

Yes, that definitely means perfect as well. The one De Gea used is a kind of "Italian stereotype" symbol, but when used on its own I think it often means something is delicious or exquisite.

In a YouTube short, there’s a scene where an American wife, part of an Italian-American couple, wastes parmesan cheese. The husband reacts with a classic Italian 🤌 gesture, wordlessly conveying, "Why, you clueless y@nk?" Or something similar !
