Rangers Marquee signing was a player whose wasn’t even a regular at Aberdeen
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They showed good in tent making a marquee signing in the first place though
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Also he is a decent player who gets a few goals normally, he is just going through a himself spell

I kind of agree with Clement in that we were decent enough and on the front foot for a lot of the second half. Relatively speaking that half an hour spell might qualify as one of our best (domestically) this season.
But all that has to be taken in context that we have a ‘bang average’ to ‘weak’ squad we have has performed dreadfully pretty much all season.
The bar for Rangers has been so low this season but it has been completely predictable from the outset.
There was absolutely nothing surprising about last night. I posted here about the match odds last week before the papers picked up on it. I got 6/1 on Aberdeen to win btts.
There was no way this current rangers team have the ability or cojones to go to Pittodrie against an Aberdeen team that’s flying and get a win. Zero chance. Yet somehow the bookies had them as favourites? Best value odds you will see all season.
Hope you all filled your boots👍
Called it but wish I'd had the courage of my convictions at 3/1 Aberdeen. Didn't have a nibble. Won't see those odds on an Aberdeen victory again.
Clement is trying to simplify things as much as he can
To sit and try assess our season just now, you could put the rose tinted glasses on and say......only places we have dropped points this season are at difficult to go grounds like Tynecastle, Rugby Park, Pittodrie and of course Celtic Park.....so it's not a huge and terrible crisis, as you can't expect to go to all these places and win all the time
But then you need to be realistic, and for me, that's what Clement isn't doing
Yes, Rangers teams can go to these grounds and maybe drop a point or two.........but we've only won 1 of our 5 away games, so we are dropping points at almost every one of them, not just one or two
We have scored a grand total of 2 goals away from home in the league in 5 matches.....that is a major issue
For the most part, the performances have been pi$$ poor, so it's all good and well that we may have had a good spell in the second half at Pittodrie.....what about the consistent number of bad spells we have had in matches, not just in away games, but at home too.
Unless Clement starts being realistic about all this stuff, folk are gonna get proper pi$$ed off at home trying to grab for the positives in such games
We are miles off it, he knows it, and the time for being all rose tinted glasses about it has long since passed
So either get the finger oot....or just fck off with yer pi$h

It's getting that way mate, and I don't like coming down hard on managers and calling for thier heads...but I see no way this improves under Clement
It's very difficult for us fans to put faith in a manger who appears to be accepting really poor performances every week, who doesn't seem to be actually acknowledging the major issues that are staring us all in the face, is constantly putting faith in players that aren't performing, is making at times some very strange substitutions and changes to the starting lineup......so if thats the case for us fans, what are the players thinking?
