After the first round shocks there were less surprised this afternoon.

Michael Smith lost to Daryl Gurney, who looks to be rediscovering the form that got him among the titles.
Dave Chisnall also went out, losing the Andrew Gilding.

The Lukes both got through.

On the side matter of the OoM (and thus the Worlds draw)...

Littler will go into 4th with a win tonight ahead of Cross. That is the highest he can end the year.

Heta will go into the top 8 ahead of Bunting if he can win.

Ryan Joyce and Jermaine Wattimena are chasing a top 32 spot - and thus avoiding the first round. Joyce will need to win tonight and the quarter to get above Barney, while Wattimena needs to get to the final.

Connor Scutt could break into the top 64, but needs to reach the semi final. For de Graaf to get there he needs a final spot. Both already have a tour card for next year, but breaking into the top 64 as early as possible will give them the best chance of extending their stay. Both have already sealed their World Championship spot.
