Yeah I had a look. I take your point re: 3 points but we'd been in terrible form long before that. I do think lots of fans lost their chit when Poch was sacked even though he ultimately failed. If you look at it objectively he wasn't doing a good job. Let's not forget he was on top money, too.
That doesn't mean Jose is the right man for us or whatever, but the constant moaning and looking for any angle to attack the manager is toxic, and tiring to read. I don't get it. To me it'd be like watching a TV show you hate every week just to find more stuff you hate so you can go online and tell everyone how much you hate it. Just do something else for a bit.
He at least deserves a full season. Maybe a transfer window or two. That's what we'd do for anyone else. Particularly a player with his kind of track record in the game. I get the feeling even if he wins a trophy with us there'll be some fans that'll hate him. It's already started 'only Europa' etc.
I mean I disagree with the TV show bit, supporting a club and following a show are totally different (but that still didn’t stop me shiiiting in GoT from season 5 onwards anyway!).
I think for me it’s really tough to see the positives, and I get that the constant negativity can be draining but it’s probably the best place for people to air their views?
Best case in my mind, we get top 4 next season a Europa and a domestic cup? I’m not sure I’m going to enjoy any of it tbh, as bad as that seems, bar maybe the Europa final win and a victory over Arsenal. I like watching players I like succeed - Kane, Ndombele, Sessegnon and I’m not sure these guys will really (or relatively). It’s painfully demoralising and makes me wonder what our plan is?

You know what I hate is when you criticise José and what going on NOW the default response is well it was rubbish under Poch too.
Well obviously that’s why he got sacked but isn’t it supposed to get better?
I’ve never felt this down about our club after a win, especially against a good rival. I just can’t see us not being ‘Jose‘d’ like Utd/Chelsea/RM before us - and I think the casualty of it will be us losing Kane. Which will suck for me as him becoming as good as he is, is possibly my favourite thing about Spurs in my time supporting them.
Why was you looking for that? Everyone knows the 3 signings last summer Poch wanted ( in fact Bergwijn was also wanted by Poch )

Fantastic but that still doesn’t answer any points poster are putting about what’s happening now does it.
He just had 3 months off to come up with a new game plan and we look worse than we did in his first 2 months

Yeah we're chit. I don't think we look worse than we did in the last year or so of Poch's tenure. And the squad is a state.
Look, I'm not saying Jose is great but he deserves a fair crack at it.

It’s not the going after Ndombele that is so bad, it’s The way he does it. Trying to publicly humiliate him. Then he honestly believes that it’s good management barely giving him a minute when we have 5 subs? Poch and so many other managers wouldn’t have done that.

Btw by 'going after' I meant he was Poch's pick.

Let’s not forget when they came back from lockdown José was telling anyone that would listen how good Ndombele been training etc to only leave him on bench.
No wonder player is getting frustrated.
The reason I don’t want to give him a fair crack or the whip is because we know what he’s like and can predict what’s going to happen. It’s a dumb comparison but I wouldn’t allow Trump time as U.K. Prime minister either

That's the honest truth. Fair enough, I do get it.
I just like to think people can change. Certainly they deserve a chance to try at least. If life has taught me anything it's that a change of scenery and some time away can work wonders.
I would say the thing that always annoys me most is when you get the “we should sack XXX” or “we need to replace striker/DM/insert here” and then you ask who, and they respond with “it’s not my job”. Well if you clearly have strong feeling about it, surely there needs to be a plan

My question would be what’s the plan with Jose? When he came in he spoke how good our squad was and how we didn’t need much etc etc and 20 games later we look worse off.
Is he the man you want building a new squad on a tight budget?
While after like a month of it happening I’d kind of accepted that sacking Poch was probably the right idea. Now if this is what we aspire for, I’d rather Poch was allowed to achieve the same low-bar Jose did.
No he's not the man I wanted but I'm willing to see how he gets on seeing as how he is our manager. I mean, the alternative is crying about it until he's sacked.
