We definitely went to a low block but I think that was a necessity with them fresher than us.
I think overall it was a decent performance and a much improved one too
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I was happy at the team from the start and happy with the first half performance. We were knackered second half but I think there were obvious subs that could have come on earlier and I think we won more out of fortune due to the abysmal quality of their back 3 than anything.
Arsenal's defence is a joke but they're not worse than Bournemouth. We played well today and deserved to win.
Onwards and upwards
I’m surprised at how much easier it was for us to create a chance today than against a really poor team like Bournemouth

It's long been the way though, hasn't it? Every game without Eriksen against teams happy to play for a draw we looked sheit.
Definitely something Jose will have to figure out.
Yeah but their defence is SO bad that’s why it was surprising. I get us struggling to create vs Sheff Utd or something
Söyüncü will be banned for our game v Lesta
That’s good, was it a straight red
Yea a kick out apparently. Didn’t see it myself though
We have better fixtures than Wolves, Arsenal and Sheff Utd. Could finish 6th.

What’s your f**king problem
Bournemouth 3-1
If we beat Bournemouth we could’ve caught Lesta ourselves
Said on other thread, they have Wolves, Spurs and Utd left without Soyuncu. They could lose 3 in a row.
Rodgers loves to bottle the end of the season
It’s outrageous. Their team is so reliant on Perreira and Ndidi though
Funny how things can change
Brendan could do no wrong at the start of the season.
Yea they do although I think Justin will turn out a fantastic RB
So Leicester have Spurs, Wolves and Utd left to play. Could easily be three losses
I already said that, apologies
Yeah they could definitely struggle. No Perreira, Morgan and Evans at CB.. their defence suddenly looks championship standard. Albrighton injured too.
Still need other results to go our way but it's on.
Wolves have a decent Burnley side, Leicester and another easy win I forget against who left.
Tbh 2 wins, 2 draws and 1 loss from our tough bunch of fixtures Since the restart wasn’t bad. Highlights how important to beat Bournemouth was though.
Yeah that's likely what will cost us.
Personally I'd take 7th, and a decent run at the league and domestic cups over a Europa run that's going to have to be crammed in now. Have they announced what format it'll take yet?
