I did actually think of that earlier. I was doing pretty well until Thudd stuck his oar in.

I agree with you, but Christopher expressed his opinion as if it was irrefutable fact even though he presented it along with what looked like baseless and irrelevant observations, and I don't like him.

You've mentioned players ages, and you've also mentioned the quality of the players, ie "world class" (which seems to be an attempt to distract from the previous issues that you raised), but you still haven't explained what bearing the age has.

Is it your contention that injuries heal quicker in 23 year olds than 30 year olds ? I wasn't aware of this. Is Doherty a doubt for the start of the season due to his age which means a new signing in his position a matter of necessity ?

Or do you have some other contention about the significance of the player being 30 ?

If Doherty's injury is potentially long term then I'd agree that a new right wing back is a priority (although I also think that a new left wing back is also a priority because Reg is rubbish).

A couple of them yeah. I usually line up in defence alongside a fit blonde tbf. I'm the dog, she's the cat

This weekend was my first time playing mixed and I wasn't sure of the etiquette with tackling and stuff, plus the amount of attractive women in short shorts stretching all over the place.

Some of them were duds but there were some players that were better than most of the blokes there.

Still miss Powerleague hell in a cell type games though, they were so good for my touch and fitness.

Do you reckon we could play in a women’s prem side and be the best player on the pitch?

Yeah same. One of the girls on the other team scored a screamer against us yesterday. I think on a full sized pitch with slide tackles allowed etc it's a different game. But playing 7 a side 'friendly' games it's more about technique and fitness, which at this level they can easily be as good as most blokes.
