Those subs absolutely killed us. Gray and Tel are so poor

Only the £70m we won’t recoup
Sum up our recruitment

great performance, feeling good
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Complete opposite for me. Expected that performance and really worried about the tactics last 10 - really really idiotically bad
----------------------------------------------------------------------
they're the best team in the world, we clearly tired a lot and have a thin squad and still they only had 1 big chances. wasn't like we were getting hammered really in terms of shots
think it was more passive than Frank would have wanted given the way we started the game but understandable under the circumstances
holding that PSG team to 13 shots and like 1.1 xG is like a best case scenario
But it’s a PSG that had been training for about 3 days and looked like it.
To let a knackered team have all of the ball with the most dominant attacking force in football, and make them have to do no running is brain dead
think it worked pretty well, we controlled the game for the most part. just lacked an outball at the end because Tel and Solanke were well off it compared to Richy and Kudus.
feeling very positive
We don’t have a good enough team to do that Edin knackered or not
There’s still so much we need to do in the market but sure we won’t do
But fair play to Frank I think he did a lot good tonight with what he has
I think we will do good in general under him but my biggest worry was cowardice when winning like we had under Jose. Today didn’t help my fears.
I don't think it was cowardly at all really, we pressed high a lot and always had good outballs on. it's not like we took our two forwards off for defenders and intentionally surrendered that threat. we made two like for like subs with the hope of getting more energy up top and being able to keep being a threat going the other way. the two who came on just were very poor and couldn't keep hold of the ball
he subbed the whole front three off - think he clearly was looking to add more energy and get us up the pitch. it just didn't happen
the Bayern game I was a bit concerned because we were very passive from minute one and it did feel like too much of a low block rather than a mid block
didn't feel that at all today
Comes down to squad depth. We have little, they have loads.
Tel, Gray, bergvall and solanke were way way off it. Three young signings are not going to see a game out for you. You need experience coming on.
I don’t agree Chris but each to their own
What did we think of Palhinha?
Absolutely shocking by tactical aware Frank.
Not changing to a 4 and adding another midfielder to push on psg and let our fitness over run them at 2-0 up.
To sit back and let them just attack v defence we was never keeping them out.
They even gave us a warning by that offside goal & still Frank done nothing.
This we should be proud is absolutely ridiculous.
Franks first game in Europe was in the Super Cup final against one of the best teams in a generation? I guess he made mistakes but he'll probably learn
Some of the stuff from Spurs fans is ridiculous, and respected Spurs fans also.

Chris right now smacks off He backed Frank so much to join us that he can’t now critique him.
Thought Palhinho done Palhinho things. Won tackles, stayed into position to stop attacks.
Looked so much worse when he went off
We are Spurs, Dog Sh@t last season but actually put in a half decent performance against a good PSG side full of top players, yes we need to improve but the moaning on here is a joke... as things stand we can't really expect more, no amount of crying is going to make Levy pack his bags.... That’s a worry.
26% possession, having 50% less passes than them is being in control as you put above.
Not forgetting they a 6 days in for preseason. That last 20 mins we should’ve been running riot over them considering where we are in preseason but tactically we got it wrong after doing good for 60 mins.
No manager (not even Ange remember) has your team pushing up the pitch 2-0 up in a cup game with 10 minutes to go. He'd be absolutely torn to shreds if we conceded on the counter

Ange won though but believe he would’ve been torn to shreds if we conceded late on.
Us conceding TWICE in the last 5 mins would’ve had the likes of Chris etc going crazy at Ange.
Also we was playing a team who looked absolutely cooked on the hour mark and that’s when we should’ve adapted put in another midfielder for a defender ( Danso ) and kept them further away from our goal.
Honestly I don’t even think that’s a controversial opinion either.
I don't think it's controversial to have that opinion but I don't think it's necessarily the right thing to do. Like you said on the other thread, you sit back for so long you're bound to concede. But we'd done that the whole game up to that point and were winning 2-0
So by the same logic, they're cooked. Where's the goal coming from? Couple of moments of genius init that happens when you've got a world class squad.
