I was watching the darts, can't believe it's the same venue as the Masters in a couple of weeks

I've been watching the Darts too. I've not really been into it previously but I seemed to have been enjoying the world championship this year.I did watch it a bit last year too Whether I will follow more Darts tournaments is probably unlikely as for me Snooker, Football have been the priority Sports followed by Cricket and Tennis has been 4th, although with Tennis I tend to mainly just watch the Grand slams properly and then I kind of watch some of the Masters 1000 tournament on Sky sports if there is nothing else to watch.

Happy new year all.
Another Snooker quiz for 2024. I got 29-35, not too bad but could have been better.

Darts has been great, had a decent bet on LL from the start, but regardless, very enjoyable watch.

At this stage, LL seems more screwed on than Ronnie, although he does seem to have a more stable family life that what Ronnie had.

It's hard to say whether LL can get anywhere near Taylor's numbers, due to his own motivation and what new talents may come around, but the effect he will have on the game will be greater than any other player so far (that happened already last year, and will increase this year)

Ronnie's numbers are amazing, but it says everything about him that he should have had much more.

Yea Ronnie should have won a lot more, Littler is a brilliant talent

Big MVG fan and have been for years, but can’t argue with that result.

Littler had the toughest half of the draw and then won the final comfortably. Hope MVG wins a couple more Worlds, but if he doesn’t get back to his absolute best, he may struggle. It certainly isn’t getting any easier.

Littler was amazing though and he should just play season to season rather than worry about Phil Taylor’s records.

MVG just doesn't seem the same player post-covid. He's had a slight dip in form, others have improved and he's lost that aura he had.

Still a great player and relatively young etc, but time has moved on. I hope he still has a world title or two in him, it would seem crazy if he ended up with 'only 3'.

The scary thing with LL is he can still improve - it's just about motivation etc, but you can see him dominating for next 5-10 years
