We will get a forward in whether that is CF or a wide player it would be absolute madness if we dont. From purely a numbers perspective it's unsustainable to think we can get to the end of the season with what we have.
Well Vlahovic is also a donkey but that still puts him light years ahead of current version Havertz.
Think we’ll definitely go for someone, apparently we’re perusing Mbeumo with a few other clubs, but understandably Brentford will be unwilling to sell in January. Think they would cash in given his contract is running down, but it’d still require a big overpay for him, and whether we’re willing to pay that is another matter. So someone on a loan may be the preferred option for the club
Think we’ll be in the market, just don’t know how much we’re willing to push the boat out before we decide to just wait until the summer.
What annoys me is that we are happy to overload on the defence, goalkeepers and the DMs.
But there is just something about attacking players that we seem to think we can do without.
For us to be left with 2 Chelsea rejects, who both have absolute zero conviction in front of the goal, for the remainder of the season is really worrying.
Remember this is the same manager that got rid of Vieira, ESR and Eddie and was happy to keep it as it was until the final minute panic loan of sterling.
Get Gyokeres he knows how to put the ball in the back of the net. That's what this team is missing. We create enough chances

You think the manager is telling the board not to sign attackers?
Be serious.

Someone is definitely not making it a priority. 11 transfer windows and 1 striker brought in
Lots of reports saying we are in talks to sign Sesko.
We have definitely wanted to sign a forward, we’ve chased them in numerous windows. Arteta is certainly more about regaining control of games rather than all attack minded, but there’s no way he wouldn’t want a better forward. I think it’s because we’ve had to build in a few positions and the club have been hesitant to drop a huge fee on a top forward because they always come at a premium compared to other positions, so we’ve opted to be more cautious or find other solutions for now. That might be the wrong approach, maybe we should have not got 2 defensive players in exchange for a forward
Think it’s more we don’t want the financial risk of a forward, but by now we should have at least tried to unearth cheaper solutions, bit like how Brentford do. But look at most of the other bigger pre
teams, no one has much success dropping big money on a striker. So think we don’t want to take that risk yet.
I think we'll get someone, we're just trying to bring forward deals for our preferred targets in a structure that won't break the bank before we make a decision on whether or not someone like Vlahovic would be the answer.
Looks like we are seriously in for Benjamin Sesko ! Its gathering momentum.
I think we will get at least 2 players, one perm one loan !
Isak is unrealistic in Jan, no point in waiting on summer.
I would get striker on loan tbh and perm winger and go for Isak in summer.
If not then I would be happy with Sesko as Perm and Mbuemo on loan with clause to sign in summer !

Why on earth would Brentford just offer us their best player on loan mid-season? To what end?
We should buy Ollie Watkins before Saturday so he cant play against us
