This game on Wednesday is concerning the way we are playing. Just as well they are rank rotten as well.
Anyways. Into the hat we go
Wonder if McInnes will say his team were unlucky?
Lost count of the number of chances we missed. Hopefully have our shooting boots on vs Young Boys 🍀👍
All about getting through in the cup, but feck me we made hard work of that. Had enough glaring chances to have won 3 or 4 cup ties … the 4 vs 1 breakaway being particularly comedy bad. Just waiting for Deek to claim Killie were hard done by now, in a game they should’ve lost by 4 or 5.
Made heavier work of that than was required. Need to stop being so sloppy in front of goal, especially with the CL game coming up.
Too many easy chances missed but 3 points and up the road to prepare for Wednesday

Depressing to see that for all our talk of no longer letting our best players leave for free, we're going to let Hagi leave for free because we can't afford to extend his £20k contract for another year. I'm sure there are far worse players in our squad we could punt who are earning more than him.

When’s this happening? Wouldn’t be stunned to see Igamame and Cerny go either.
The art is in getting the money or freeing up big wages and replacing them with more cost effective players who can quickly step up to the same if not better standard.
Then the model works.
Not that we are exactly firing on all cylinders mind.

AFAIK his contract is up the end of this season, we have an option to extend for another year but seemingly don't want to commit to another year of salary for him. Which is mental for one of our best players. Another year on £20k is £1m + NI/pension costs etc. We should easily be able to recoup that in transfer fee. Sure, that knee injury set him back a couple of years, but other than that he has no notable injury history and has shown he's not lost any of his ability.
Cerny is only on loan and at his age it makes zero financial sense to sign him permanently.

He could choose to water down his demand as he has already shown he is willing to do.

Why do that if he can get similar wages plus a signing on bonus from some other club?
That's got to be the worst attempt at a finish I've ever seen
