Well, Good to see positive comments from the faithful on here. No point wrist slashing. UTR
None at all Terry. We played with commitment last night. Defensively we were better than I'd expected. Ebou is a good player, Fozzy was solid.
I suspect if we played Ebou in goal, he'd end the game being one of our better players.
Fozzy is a classic example that you dont have to be loud & shouty to be a true leader.

I think we should ease the Viking in. A 5-3-2 with both of them is an option though assuming both don't pull a hamstring or somet.
Wouldn't mind seeing somet like this:
....CBT.......Viking.....Harness
......Adams.....Kenzo.....
.........Ozoh/loan...........
El/Foz....CB...CB.....Nyambe
.......... El Strom......
Hopefully get a loan in here too.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I like the look of that
If we can get Cash and Nat together with Rooney and another on loan I think we're okay in defence. Transfer saga can rumble on in the summer. I'm surprised no other PL has come in given it's now been two windows of interest in the CB.
Could Ward do a job as back up at RB , RWB or too much of a liability?

Bolton sack Evatt.
It's more the comment section that I'm bringing up. An elderly fan supporting the club over 50 years through 'thick and thin' comments on how awful the treatment was to Evatt and the level of abuse dished out by the younger generation. It's resulted in him taking time away from certain social media sites and following his beloved Bolton as he's sickened by the level of vitriol dished out.
Have to say reading some of the comments from our fans on other sites, hearing about fights amongst our own supporters ( allegedly) it has saddened me what level our fans can plummet to for what is considered 'the beautiful game.'
Are other feeling a certain unease , not by the management, the direction our club is heading but by the behaviour of our fans ( a younger generation?)
( God I sound like a old man! )
Not sure it's just the younger generation, I think social media creates these algorithms of intolerance.
For me growing up the pub was social media. You'd get the whole political spectrum repeating what they'd read in the papers loudly and pointing fingers but I do think there was some attempts at listening to different perspectives, at the very least understanding where people were coming from.
Now it feels like we're being programmed and ushered into echo chambers of people we'll never meet hating on other echo chambers of people we'll never meet arguing over a power we don't even have.
That vitriol seems to spill over into our clubs, somebody does something we don't like, I'm gonna get my mates to like my tweet, I'm gonna say something more extreme to get more likes etc etc,
I do feel like fans have become more like their impetuous owners though, and we all think we're entitled to win every game, without the ill gotten money that allows for the elite clubs to enjoy that privilege.
In summary therefore Wellies is right everyone else is wrong and I'll fight all of you on the beaches.
Slightly off topic from the excellent discussions above, but does anyone definitively know why Sunderland’s second ‘goal’ was chalked off?

Been arguing about it today... lol.
At first glance I thought it was obstruction on Adams but replays show it wasn't as bad as it looked, interesting call though if it was because their attacker was interfering with play from an offside position. Adams I think would have caught him, so excellent decision, I think there GK was interfering with play too saving from the Viking twice and the game should be called a 2-1 victory to us.

Thought that's what Breixt was. Dunna worry lads though I'm slowly turning the moose fondlers heads around. Join with Putin annex Alaska and Hawaii. Then Greenland and Iceland and replace US imperialism with 2 Wellies imperialism.
Big signings for all my friends, Tika Taka football, heated seats when we relocate Pride Park to the Tundra and buy more referees than Marinakis can eat.
