Ah, there you are View. No point any of us getting despondent eh...the tide will begin to turn as injured players return and we get 2/3 incomings. Cheers. Terry. UTR.
Mr Zan just asked me if I knew anywhere he could get a toupe... I said...Well, no....not off the top of my head....🤦♂️
Some hope is there with Warne saying that Nyambe, Ozoh and Cashin should all be available tomorrow though no doubt he will be very cautious with the first two of those. He didn't mention Phillips in his pre-match interview so maybe there is a possibility there too.
Can we find a way of having a big 'un and a littl' un up front at the same time? Could save our season.
I wonder if when blaming results on injuries there is a tendency to forget that injuries also occur to other teams - who will also be hoping to improve during the transfer window. Meanwhile on the croft..........
Perhaps though all teams are not equally affected at all times. Charlie George's shoulder dislocation against Stoke in 1976 derailed a season when we might have done the double and perhaps even precipitate the decline from which we have never recovered.
Reassuring that you have Internet though Heb. All OK? Bit breezy?

Thank you. Seems as if the mainland and Ireland have the brunt of it. Completely calm here with snow on hills until an hour ago, but the gale starting to boom in the thatch now. Will see what happens overnight.
I think “Boom in the Thatch” was a B-side by the Beastie Boys but I could be wrong.

I Googled Boom in the Thatch and the first result was "excessive bang in the loft". Which is probably something completely different.

Im hearing the same from my NCFC 'neighbours'.
Not sure they've had 3 hammys in a week though 🤔
Im intrigued by the word 'excessive'
Matt Clarke now mentioned.
I thought we'd done the conversation on injuries Heb? Our backup squad is not of Championship quality - mid L1 at best. Compared with the opposition in the Champ when they incur injuries are their back up players of a Champ level or below? I'd say that from first position to tenth, eleventh in the table they have a squad of championship players. So when we lose players of Champ quality or above ( Nyambe, Ozoh, Cashin, etc) I see that as hindering us more.
I saw a post on salaries in the championship and Derby are paying £11m per season (allegedly). The following clubs Leeds, Burnley & Luton are paying £30m each. That reflects the level of their squad in comparison to Derby's.

Sibley has gone to Rotherham …
It is Matt Clarke with previous. Seems to be surplus at Boro as they're due to sign another CB. Has managed 14 games this season for Boro.
