I imagine it’s fitness and him having game time to get even close to where he was. Has he even been playing U21s yet?

Yes Fin & a large proportion of them more recently.
Not consistently though, because of his ties to the first team squad.

I think he needs to be used... hes always looked like a good player to me.

I would like to see Rooney play, but if he hasn't had any games with the junior teams I would wonder why.

Perhaps theres something in the Rooney surname which spooks a former lower league striker 🤔

VC, Brighton have been a bigger club than Derby ever since they managed to not only get to the Prem but firmly establish themselves there and get proper money for their transfers allowing them to operate sustainably and successfully.

Any Derby fan who still thinks we’re a big club other than for attendance is delusional. Not to say we won’t get there but BHA is a much more attractive option. Sadly.
