Disappointed but not totally surprised.
The lad has been umming and ahhhring so if he doesn't really want to be here probably best he doesn't come.
Felt it was a bit of a weird choice as I would have thought we'd spend big money on a wide attacker, not a striker when we have 2 already. An obligation to buy meant he would have been ours in the summer....which points at Richy leaving. Apparently Tel has not done so well playing from wide and with Olise now smashing it he hasnt had many chances this season.
We've always fancied him, so were happy to pay a lot despite his minimal game time this season. Can't say I've seen too much of him.
At this stage any body through the door will help. Might have to go for a stop gap if our longer term target isn't wanting to come.
Hoping us targeting a striker doesn't mean that Solankes injury is worse than reported.

We have bid for Muani and now Tel. Unfortunately without success. It's a shame but this is how it is.

You like to take one thing, like BJ, and use it to damn the whole transfer committee as a failure. Reality we have made some good signings and some OK one.

Shame but not one that I'm going to lose much sleep over to be honest.
As someone said if this was the one our famous transfer committee were falling all over to do going by their track record with players it's probably a blessing.

Well indeed. I can't believe that Dragusin, aged 21 when we bought him, isn't the finished deal. I mean it's a feckin disgrace.
We have bid for Muani and now Tel. Unfortunately without success. It's a shame but this is how it is.
It is not as if we are not trying or don't have our targets.
You like to take one thing, like BJ, and use it to damn the whole transfer committee as a failure. Reality we have made some good signings and some OK one.
We have failed in a bid for Tel and you use that describe not knowing what we are doing or planning. It's just rubbish.
Egg on our face? Couldn't give a shiiiit about. What matters is where we are on 3rd and if we are still short then so be it. That will be a failure.
