Anyone think Ange may spring a surprise with either Micky or Romero starting? I know he said neither is quite ready, but you never know.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
After the Chelsea game I doubt it but it has crossed my mind
Would be such a bonus if VDV was in the side
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No chance. The fact vdv wasn’t even on the bench at the weekend makes me wonder if he’s out for a while.
Got half a chance today. Anyone that thinks we'll get blown away is being overly dismissive in my opinion. Can see a closer game than that. I mean if we do get blown away, my faith in Ange is going to be even lower than it already was.

We all know Liverpool are favourites to go through. However this could also work in our favour, when teams are standout favourites sometimes they subconsciously drop their motivation levels. We also have nothing to lose as we are obviously not being taken seriously by the pundits. I just have a sneaking suspicion that we could surprise Liverpool and everyone else.
If we do go out, I hope that our players give 100% and make Liverpool work hard for a result. COYS

Id be amazed if we drop our levels in a semi final 2nd leg at anfield with the place bouncing even with us being big favourites.
Think it will be a cracking game. 4-2 for us in normal time.

It's not Galatasaray. We'll have our firm up there and drown you out. You're not singing anymore
The very definition of a proper six pointer this one.
Can see Spurs scoring early and putting in a defensive master class for 85 minutes, before putting the game beyond doubt with a second killer goal on a breakaway.
Liverpool 0 Spurs 2
I think we're playing the long game with Micky & Cuti.
We know we aint going down, and we know we aint gonna make Europe through league position.
I think both these cup games have come a bit early. Players have been out for months and will be way off match sharpness so while it would be good to have them back, they wouldn't be able to play a whole game
Better to have them in peak condition when we restart in Europa (or EFL final), but also we have some weeks coming up with no mid week games. We can manage the return of all injured players much better through this period, resting and rehabbing properly.
Imaging Ange coming to training and welcoming back Romero, Cuti, Udogie, Odobert, Johnson, Maddison, Solanke, Vicario ....he'll be like Soo many options!!!
Liverpool playing a second string team!
The ultimate lack of respect for Spurs.

You've already won it. You battered us in the first leg and you've only got better since then.
Liverpool 0 (0) - Tottenham 7 (8)
Good luck against Newcastle in the final
