Names on the Europa league and qualification for next seasons CL

Yeh I don't think Spurs will be to far away from lifting Europa with a fully fit refreshed squad. Couldn't have worked out better really. Imagine all these players coming back and only really have to concentrate on half a dozen Europa games to lift a trophy.
Great chance to finally win some silverware again
Good to have these guys coming back... Would love to see udogie and Spence as our full backs. Porro causes us more problems than he solves.
At what point do we get seriously concerned about Mickey and Romero ? I mean where are they ? Something must be wrong at this point. I feel like Mickey may be the Michael Owen of centre backs.
Good news on the whole but Odobert is s***. Mikey Moore is better than him.

Yeh that us my concern. Micky came back for 45 minutes, and has now vanished. Romero was supposedly back in training two weeks before Micky and still no sign of him.
I don't buy Ange's line that they are taking it slowly. Not sure we are all being told the exact truth.
Not sure it'll make much difference. Rot has set in.
Bournemouth have had crazy injuries but haven't compromised the quality of their football. Their coach has also clearly got a plan B and C and has noticeably improved the players. He seems on another level to Ange.
Can't think of one player Ange has improved.
Love watching Spurs games as you will see goals but it simply reminds me of when Ossie was managing Spurs 😂
The returning players didn't make a massive difference last season but yes they should do if Ange utilises the squad correctly. Ange will not be able to use the same tired injury excuse then.
Are the returning defenders going to prevent us conceding so many chances though, which has been a trend that's run through pretty much the whole of our season?
I've got a funny feeling we still might concede too many goals and defenders like Romero will get lambasted for not being switched on enough by some Spurs fans.

Bournemouth have not been playing in four different competitions for the last three months with their injuries though, and they have had nowhere as many as Spurs.

It will make a massive difference getting your best goalie and defence back in harmony.
I agree it doesn't improve the systematic and tactical issues we have.... We've massively underperformed even when all are fit and available. We look like 8th in table with all fit and of course 14th with injuries.
Just hoping it will allow us to go deep in Europe at least and salvage our season.

Well it should improve us but by how much is the question. Is it going to make us go on a long unbeaten run? I'm not sure it will. Remember how we had 5 losses in 11 before the City game, after which we were then without our first team keeper and CBs.
Our poor form has been with us almost a year now.
It can only help but not sure how much. We were losing games and conceding silly goals when we just had VDV out. Remains to be seen if we do improve.

Never really had a settled XI for like 18 months now. Spurs did have some good wins earlier in the season, si they cannot be dismissed. Obvious with the better players, you will still get better performances.

When does any team really have their full first team available from one week to the next? In any case, if you have a load of games, you have to rotate anyway.
They had good wins, some of which look overrated in retrospect. The bad losses are bad though and Ange is fortunate a number of times to not be on the end of more hammerings.
I've become something of an armchair Spurs fan since Archie signed. Keen to see him progress as I think he will in time. Hope results and vibe don't affect his development, you've a gem there I believe. Also impressed, mostly, with the young (is he Swedish?) Bergvald (other spellings probably exist!).
Good to see/hear the fans in the stands backing the team, turning more on the ownership. As an outsider looking in, that appears the root of your issue.
Question - Son. Always thought he was a great player. Is he suffering without Mr Kane by his side?

Yeah Archie looks good. I'm also excited to see how he progresses given the hype and the so far solid performances at such a young age, especially for such a big price tag. That can often be too much for a youngster.
As for Son, he has always had his lulls and purple patches in seasons, so has never been the most consistent player anyway. 3 seasons ago I would have put him in a world class tier but I think a combination of age, missing Kane, and managerial factors have weakened him.
Son looks fed up to be honest …..when Ange gets the boot I think we are going to see a lot of our senior players say what they really think
I do wish fans , especially rival ones who think they know it all , would stop comparing our situation to Bournemouth
Yeah they have injuries , for a month , maybe just under and played 1 game a week …..it’s a ridiculous comparison ….their squad players are fresh
Our squad players are on their knees

Son is the captain. He is supposed to lead by example, but he is doing anything but. Pretty sure with a fully fit squad, he would have been benched a while back.
