The difference is that Spurs used to be a club that eon trophies at the highest level and our fans pay some of the highest ticket prices in the world. We never had a period of dominance like Liverpool, Man Utd or Man City but we used to win a trophy or two once every decade.

My grandad born in 1887 followed the club more or less from the start, and only saw them win three trophies, until he passed away aged 68, in 1956. But I never remember him moaning about lack of trophies, all be it I was quite young.
I think it is a modern thing this entitlement thingy.
