Ha ha the great reset. Like the football equivalent of turning your computer off and on again.

Who knew relegation could solve all our problems. Cancel all contracts, make horrible owners disappear, attract the world's best managers , and world class players... all thanks to being in the Championship
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ive been saying this club needs to get relegated for years. It's rotten to the core.

Who said attracting the world's best players and managers?

It would be a long project. If that meant we stayed down for a couple of years before coming back up, then fine.

We'd have to recruit carefully, not slapdash how we have been up until now. Zirkzee, hoilund, Antony, Maguire, onana, Casemiro, Sancho, you get my drift? Money down the drain, literally.

If it meant promoting players from youth teams to develop in the championship for a couple of years, I'm all for it.

Fk the lot of the first team, and the backroom staff, and the manager, they're all chit.

It would also help get rid of loads of our fairweather fans

Do you know what fairweather fan means?

Do you?

It’s a fan who only goes to matches when the temperature outside is between 18-23 degrees c. No sweat lads.

I'm not even convinced season tickets are going to sell out next season if the rumored 20% hikes comes into play for all.

Why should us fans have to pay 20% more for a much worse product to fix issues that billionaire inbreds caused?

This is all going to get even worse guys. Buckle up. We are heading for administration or relegation thats for sure. In either scenario....we need to get Glazers and INEOS out.

I won't be paying it. I will very reluctantly bow out after 34 years if the rumours are true.

£60 a game to watch this crap? I might be daft but I'm not a idiot.

The backlash to the announcement will be horrendous. On a scale we haven't seen before.

Given the choice between a fan who throws his toys out the pram when the going gets rough and wants the side to get relegated as opposed to one who accepts we're going through a tough time, wants to back the new manager and accepts it will involve pain and patience, I'd say it's the former

The Glazers wouldn't survive a relegation. Neither would INEOS. It would be incredibly painful for us fans but a price worth paying.

Lots of teams have been relegated before including us in the 70's. Newcastle went down. City went down and the are both back.

I'd rather go down and potentially be debt free under new owners and come back up than stay in the PL in midtable with the debt getting bigger and bigger every year whilst we don't compete. That's what's going to happen.

Changing managers isn't fixing this mess now. The rot is way too deep and the squad is shocking. The only thing that fixes us now is a club reset sadly.

We won't go down this season purely because the teams in bottom 3 don't look like getting another 15 PTS they'd probably need to overtake us. However Im not ruling out getting relegated in next few seasons the direction we are heading in. We sink further and further every passing year.

Until we force the inbreds out nothing is changing. Relegation might be the only way it happens.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
SE85 I think that's hopeful but unrealistic.

What will happen if United get relegated is we'll be ar serious risk of losing our best players not our worst. The likes of Amad, Garnacho, Mainoo, Bruno will either be cashed in or want to leave.

Just look at what's happened to other clubs in similar circumstances - Alan Smith at Leeds, Joe Cole, Defoe and Kanoute at West Ham and that's just 4 off the top of my head. Our worst players won't have any takers with the silly wagers they're on and they'll have no monetary incentive to give a shiiiit.

Glazers have always and will always want to get top $ for selling the club. They may not get to leech much out in the Championship, but they aren't putting a cent into the club either so they'll just wait it out until they feel they can maximise their profit.

Yeh sure the manager may be sacked (I know you're not advocating for this but imagine if we do) who are we going to attract that's going to be better when we're in the lower league as opposed to the PL.

I appreciate why you may be saying it, but it's not going to have the outcomes you think it will.

That squad is better than 15th. Mngr has to rethink tactics until season end. Then change pre season. Its weird
----------------------------------------------------------------------

No tactics change can make up for woeful finishing and poor decision making
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't know why people are blaming the tactics yesterday, even with so many players out, we were probably the better team.

Take away Onana's gift to Maddison, Spurs didn't create a meaningful chance, in spite of getting into to some good positions.

The (un)availability of players is certainly hurting us at the moment; some of the players look tired and some are playing out of position.

People have spent a lot of time talking on here about replacing various first team players with upgrades, but we actually need to beef up numbers in the squad as much as anything.

Being unable to count on Mount or Shaw, and with Casemiro, Eriksen, Lindelof, Rashford, Antony and Malacia all surely on their way in the summer, it’s numbers we’re going to need first and foremost.

How are they tired though, they hadn't played in ages before yesterday.
Tiredness shouldn't be an excuse unless Ruben is facking them over in training.

That’s not really the problem. Even when we had nearly everyone available we lost 3-0 to Bournemouth

I’ve not suggested that it’s even nearly our largest problem.

We have an awful lot of problems. At the moment, availability of players is one of them.
