I've realised that Sandy and Luka, less so Dev, share a lot in common with the likes of Piers Morgan. Now Piers doesn't really believe half the shiiiiit he spouts. He doesn't really like the politics of Trump or the skills of Ronaldo, but he will if they pay him attention, which they did. Anyone that massages his ego or gets his face in the spotlight is suddenly Pier's new god. He's a sycophant of the very worst possible kind. His only goal is clicks and attention.
Sandy and Luka I don't think really care all that much about right or wrong. They only care about attention. Even me writing this comment is feeding them to a certain extent. They're not interested in nuanced debate. The only reason they like to shut down voices like ours is because they know it annoys us, not because it differs from their own.
They're just trolls. It's as simple as that. It's really quite tragic when you stand back and analyse it. They're crying for attention. Even the very worst trolls on Twitter do it because ultimately they want to be noticed.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Piers used to call Wenger out all the time when he was past it and Arsenal were going downhill with him. That's kind of the opposite of what Luka is doing.
If you are prepared to give managers time and hope until there's none left that is one thing, but attacking your own fans when they are criticising him and just in doing so, is what makes these guys weird and trolls.

I've said I'd keep Ange next season on principle if he wins the Europa but honestly I'd be half tempted to sack even if he did. It's so obvious he's out of his depth. Winning the Europa delays the inevitable.
He is a PE teacher we are trying to convert into a football manager.....why not just sack and employ an actual football manager?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I agree, I would get rid still as the same problems would keep surfacing. I actually think it would get worse, because he will be even more stubborn if we fluked the Europa - “look I was right” even if we finish 15th.
If we get knocked out by AZ next week, I hope we keep Ange until the end of the season - give the Ange in crowd what they want, meaningless Ange ball in front of a deflated and despondent crowd. We haven’t been able to sell out the latest tickets that went on sale on Monday - fans have started to have enough
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Good point about the stubbornness. There'd be an insufferable level of self-confidence from the fraud if we fluked the Europa.
I just don't think the players care about playing under him anymore. You can tell by their body language they don't really believe they are on the right path with him.
At least if we crashed out and kept Ange until the end it would give Levy/Ange the sending off to this season from fans they deserve.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Exactly that, it would be just that Levy gets dogs abuse in that Brighton game when we end the season 11th with a busted flush of a manager when he had ample opportunity to make a change before it was too late.
Season ticket renewal is the Monday after the AX second leg - that could be fun
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The worst thing is that Levy still has that chance to recover something from this season. The Europa is entirely winnable, AZ are not that great a team...none of them left are. But with Ange there is no chance of anything.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The Europa is not at all winnable. The next teams up are a significant step up, so I in hindsight we did win, we'd have magically improved and be a decent team. It's the one and only way we would ever win it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It ought to be winnable. I think we have a good group of players who are just managed badly. That's why we look poor and have no chance of winning it currently. The only realistic chance we have left is a new manager boost and change of tactics/coaching.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Exactly. That's the one thing that would set us straight right now would be a new manager bounce.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
He simply won’t do it until we’re out of Europe. There was a rumour floating around at Xmas that Ange gets heavy compensation if he is sacked whilst we’re still in a cup comp - that is looking more and more true.
My worry is we lose to AZ and then he gets sacked, meaning that Levy doesn’t go through the toxic atmosphere. I want him getting absolute pelters in that Brighton match for effectively writing this season off - it’s been a disgrace
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Who knows if that is true regarding the compensation but this will go down as another in a long line of decision fails by Baldy. Bad decision hiring him, bad decision not firing him sooner. The number of times he could and should have been sacked over the last several months are numerous.
He and Southgate must be the 2 luckiest managers ever.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Funny you should say that, if ever there was a PL team that mirrored England national team it would be Spurs. All day long.
