Was very happy to see Real progress last night as I fancied you lot to beat Atletico and I don’t trust PSG - you would beat Villa as well.
I think Real is too tough an ask for Arsenal, they are too strong and will get through and probably make the final again
The mentality of the two teams is so wide.
Fancy you to give them a game at home but they will leave with a draw and over there you're a write off if you don't have a couple goal lead imo.

Honestly I'd rather Athleti or PSG to Villa. Emery has outfoxed Arteta a few times now and I could easily see him doing it over 2 legs.
Athleti were beatable, PSG are decent but would be a good open game.

Real and Liverpool were the only 2 sides your side of the draw that I was/am confident will beat you. If you do get past Real then I think you win the semi whoever it is.
I actually think Villa might beat PSG, Emerys euro record is pretty decent and PSG always have an off day in them.
Over the other side, I expect Bayern and Barca to progress
We'll just have to win 7-1 again
Coming up to 20 years since THAT game at the Bernabeu which feels insane to say, feels like only 6-7 years ago sometimes.
We were bigger underdogs then for sure against true Galacticos, with Flamini at left back vs Beckham, Ronaldo vs Senderos, and Fabregas/Gilberto vs Zidane/Guti
Unfortunatly going from Thierry Henry to Mikel Merino as a striker pretty much rules out a similar thing happening

Ronaldo vs Senderos an incredible sentence but somehow it worked
You'll absolutely batter them over two legs and they'll go through with a 2-1 aggregate score after an own goal in extra time.
Such is Real Madrid in the CL.

PSG should beat Villa fairly easily
I expect Real Madrid to take us to the cleaners

Senderos pocketed an attack with the other Ronaldo in a cup final the season before. His clean sheet records in CL and WC were record breaking!
Can't really see us getting through while we're not at full strength, but I'm excited for us to be playing in games like this again.
I do think we would stand a better chance if we were away first - would make the gameplan a little easier in terms of containing them for the first leg.
Even if we took it to penalties which is very unlikely, Madrid get decisions in their favour as with the Atletico game last night
happy to get you mugs in the quarters
honestly, after city and atleti it's gonna be like a holiday for us
prediction:
arsenal 1 r madrid 3
r madrid 5 arsenal 0
(8-1 agg)
do something
