I like him, I think just 3 or 4 of the right players, in the right positions could see a huge upturn in our results, it’d help if we can keep a few more fit too.
I hope we’ve seen the worst of things.
Hasn’t been helped by stupid number of injuries, now their replacements are being injured too
Hasn’t done a good job so far but willing to give him time.
I like the way he speaks, and the no nonsense approach but has done a pretty abysmal job so far
Players are figuring it out as much as hes figuring out the players. Somethings are key though.
1. Finding out where Bruno's position and maybe Garnacho? and Zirkee? and De Ligt?). Midfield position has removed a lot of his bad traits, and even Garnacho on the right. For me best piece of management by him yet.
2. Zirkzee losing some weight and getting more confident. He will be ver important for us very soon. Cantona level good? thats the dream
3. We can see in Heaven, Yoro and De Ligt what we need at centreback. We need 2 more
4. Without a striker, all his plans are almost pointless.
But solidity across the back is finally showing up even though there mistakes that almost always lead to a very risky counter. That has to end. They all get it.
Jury is out, it’s going to be Uniteds worst season in the PL era so him being sacked at the end of the season would be harsh but not surprising. However the last 10yrs have shown the manager isn’t the problem and there’s not a single manager in world football that can come in and turn this around so for the next few seasons as long as he can keep United in the PL and show improvement season on season id keep him simply because there isn’t anyone else who’d do a better job.
It’s been a complete sheiteshow.
But…
This squad can’t win the league.
So do we want a manager who will get the best out of these players and maybe finish top four, or do we want a manager to rip up team sheet and start over?
I think I’d prefer the latter, particularly as the season is pretty much done.
Let’s judge next season, providing there can be a reasonable transition of players this summer.
I think he’ll bring the glory days again. I think we’ll back him from the Stretford End. I think he’ll turn the reds around.
Been more encouraging this past couple of weeks, but I have a nagging feeling that even if we'll have a big turnaround in players during the summer to more suit his system, yet this time next year we'll find ourselves in a similar position.

I'm trying to be optimistic.
I think if we get the right players in over summer we can really make a push for a top-half finish next season.
This year was always going to be a pass for him, but he has messed up with his tinkering in my opinion.
I have not personally seen anything (bar his really impressive pressers) to say confidently he is going to take us forward.
I hope he is backed well this summer and we shall see next season. Our style of play has to improve after he has had time with these players and some reinforcements this summer.
I literally cannot stand this formation / style of play.
At times against Leicester (let's remember it's Leicester), we dropped into a 5 at the back with our 2 deep midfielders sitting inches Infront of them.
People wonder how our 'defence is now solid', there you go, because we play with basically 7 defenders.
This leaves next to no options to counter attack, because everyone is so deep.
It's further evidenced at how Leicester saw more of the ball than we did - not that possession wins you games, but a club like ours should be controlling the ball against a team getting relegated, even if we are sh!t ourselves, they are absolutely sh!t.
I wouldn't mind Ruben so much if he wasn't such a stubborn basterd and was open to switching up his methods at times but because he's so stuck in his 3 at the back crap, I couldn't care less if he was fired in all honesty.
I hope you aren’t getting excited after tonight’s win. This is the worst Leicester team in Premier League history managed by a complete fraud.

If we had 2 good wing backs, we wont even be at this position. Saing the same thing next year means we literally bought nothing.

I have to say I agree somewhat. We should’ve and could’ve put 5/6 past that Leicester team today, they are poverty. The approach to the game is too cautious. But let’s see what happens with two wingers in the mould of Dorgu.

Perhaps I'm being too short sighted, but having two proper wingbacks isn't going to change us dropping into quite literally a back 7 or 8 when we don't have the ball.
I just do not enjoy watching it.
Multiple times we just hoofed the ball clear to absolutely nobody, because nobody was at the half way line, only for Leicester to collect it and come back to us.
Wtf is that. Awful.
Aye I am a negative facker but meh. It's poverty football you see in Sunday league

I disagree with this. Couple of times Bruno is absolutely ripping into De L. He has been really good recently defending but he has a habit of just hoofing the ball. No composure to control and make a good pass. This is more a player issue rather than a system issue.
I can’t wait until he’s sacked.

Yes de ligt always does it every game. Very frustrating.
Others do it too though.
The system doesn't help the issue at all though because every player is so deep. If we had players further forward they may be able to run on to it a hoof.
I recall the likes of Zirkzee, Hoilund, nacho, sitting a few yards forward from the penalty box multiple times.
It leaves us absolutely no option for a counter, unless someone performs some magic like Zirkzee did that one time where he did very well to run up the pitch with the ball on his own and win a throw in.
MU52, he’s definitely the right man for the job, I like the way he sticks to his way of playing, however are most the players able to adapt? The present crop no it’s gonna take time, will he get it?
The first thing he has had to do is to change the culture of the team and get them working hard. He's laying the necessary foundations. We'll see if he can build upon it.
He’s been here less than 6 months, and not sure what people expecting? Change the whole style and trying to create a proper project and people have no patience even after one month. This even with the knowledge the squad is poor. Finally the players seem to be learning but we have an injury crisis as per usual
