We had the chance

The fact that our owners were prepared to take a massive gamble on the club’s future for the sake of spending a relatively small amount speaks volumes about their ambitions and lack of business/footballing nous. If only for not replacing one of the weakest goalies in the division. Sheff U and Burnley must be p!ssing themselves at the sight of our club in disarray.

We need realistically 15 points from our last 7 games to scrape over the line on goal difference so it's still doable but I will be surprised now if we manage it and that seems to be the general expectation now amongst supporters watching another unravelling which had we held on yesterday certainly may have kept that doom ridden scenario at bay for another week but that nagging feeling Leeds would find a way to eff it up has been there in the background festering away in a lot of supporters minds since Pompey away and unless we get 3 points in the early kick off away at Luton, there it will stay.

Yes there is always a slim chance we go up via the play offs but I think if the tide hasn't completely turned on Farke and the owners after yesterday then by 2.30 pm next Saturday it certainly will have done if we see a similar performance to the last few games.

So 6 days to stew this result and lack lustre showing over and hope the team can return to the form they showed away at Shef Utd but massive doubts about Meslier again have reappeared and can Farke really just sweep it under the carpet again and ignore the red flags flapping in his face....ir's unbelievable it's come to this after seemingly appearing mentally tougher than last season but yesterday showed the complete opposite and here we are again trying to make sense of how de ja vue could possibly rear its ugly head again....Only at Leeds eh??? urghh!!!

Don't care what anyone says, playing Byram and
still ignoring Schmidt is fireable. Byram was sh 1 t.
Schmidt played great for Swiss national team.

Can't get a look in? Byram steals minutes at his
expense. Develop your young, talented players
you fcking melon. Fcking ridiculous.

Macca, it's too late now for the club. With 7 games left
they have no choice to ride it out with Farke. No one's
coming in to replace him at this point. In turn, no way
Farke's dropping Meslier. Or any of the stalwarts he's
continued to fixate on and drive into the dirt with
over use. And at this stage, we can forget Schmidt,
Largie, and Gnonto getting much deserved time.

At this point it's Daniel Farce.

Because that's what it is.

Not sure this is exactly true

We had a chance to increase our lowball offer and didn’t. There’s no guarantee that adding another £5m to it would have changed sheff utds hand.

It would have been nice for us to try harder agreed
